Embrava Blynclight Plus - Busy Light for The Office (with Ringer)

Being moved to work from home 100% of the time due to Covid, I needed something to let my family know when I was in a meeting, online or free. This did just the trick, it tells everyone in the house when they can ask me questions or when to stay out of the room because I'm on a video conference. The colors are perfect but there's little distinction between Red and Orange, the good thing is that you can choose your own colors. My company uses Teams and it recognizes teams and sets the color accordingly. The only issue is that when the system goes into sleep mode, it doesn't turn the light off, that would be a nice feature to have. Other than that, it was a great addition to my home office.

Bought for my home office to let my wife and kiddo know when I'm on an important call. Works great and the software is simple yet intuitive - and customizable. Works great with MS Teams presence with a direct connection to Teams login. Highly recommend it.

The light is nice and bright and has many colors. The software allows you to manually change the colors or sounds etc but the software is really focused more on corporate applications. With Zoom it will turn red when I'm in a meeting and goes back to green when I hang up. Doesn't work with Skype Home or really anything else that I have.Fortunately they provide an API that I could work with. Most of what I'm doing now is with AutoHotkey. I have programmed it to flash red when Mic is unmuted. Certain apps I can change colors. Love the light but application integration is pretty much up to the user to develop if using this in your home.

Aside from letting my coworkers know I'm busy, I bought this specifically for its little ringer on incoming calls. I wear a corded headset for Teams and if I'm not wearing it when a call comes in I usually miss the call because I don't hear it and am not always looking at my screen.The setup and configuration were very simple but I didn't realize until I looked up the Help resources that not every software supports the functions like alerts on incoming calls.Teams only supports the basic statuses: On Call, Available, Away, Busy, and Do Not Disturb.So now I just have this glorified cute little light that tells people I'm busy. If I hadn't needed to submit an IT ticket to have the software installed I would return it. Oh well.My tower is on the ground so I also purchased a 10ft cable so I could put it up at people's eye level. The cable it comes with is only 3ft.

My wife never knew when I was in a meeting in our new apartment ( I work from home ), so I snagged this, and it is amazing. Setup is a bit odd, and most of the integrations with Slack, Zoom, etc, require IT to authorize it for enterprise use, but I have setup hotkeys to toggle the colors, and just control it manually.If red doesn't work, blinking red usually does.This one has a speaker, and can ring and flash for software phone if it is setup correctly, which it is on my personal laptop, just not my work one.

I use two programs for work meetings. Zoom and Skype home version 8.56.0.102. According to tho the user guide it works with version 7 and up. It does not light up or do anything when Skype is open and active. There are other cheaper options that work with zoom. I went with this one solely for the fact it says it works with Skype home. I have reached out to support and will update this review if there is a fix to this issue.UPDATE: the support team is great they responded in an hour but the bad news is it does not work with Skype version 8 and up. So it looks like this is going back.

Works great. Let's people around me know if I am busy or not. Integrated perfectly with Microsoft Teams.

if you want to have an office busy/away/available indicator this is a perfect little light to keep the family informed of when they can interrupt and when you are on a conference or video call - this is it! hot-keys set the color or you can have it follow your calendar - either way, it helps reduce background noise and interruptions when working from home.
