A must for this household
I know these are unnecessary for some but these have been amazing for us. As someone who doesn’t like stuff under their nails this was a must.

Not necessary, but overall great product
Five stars because the product itself is great. Nice quality and a good size to get into jars and great for getting out every last drop. I didn’t use very often as I ended up using my hands majority of the time, but this is nice if you want to avoid greasy or sticky diaper paste.

Cream/Lotion Applicator
I hate the feel of lotion on my hands, and having to apply cream on a wiggly baby just makes a huge mess, so this comes in handy for many reasons. When the baby is wiggling, I can put down the applicator and handle the baby without worrying about the cream going everywhere.I used this with my own lotion, I spread it initially where I needed it and helped spread it thin enough where I could just use my hand to rub in the last bit.For the baby I leave the cream thick so it helps create the barrier needed. The suction cup on the bottom doesn’t stick for long, but it still creates a good base to not have to lay it down.It cleans of easily, I usually use a baby wipe or rinse it in the water.

For the high maintenance dad
I originally bought this because my husband does all the diaper changes. As a mom, I’ll stick my finger in any cream and put it on the babies butt however, my husband is constantly trying to wipe his hand off while changing the baby although he’s a bit of a Primadonna with it, this helped a lot because he does majority of the diaper changes for me and it allows him to just smoothly put on the creams. Also, some of the diaper creams really stink on your hand no matter if you wash them, so this helps, you not get it stuck under your nails. Very easy to sterilize or run through the dishwasher if there’s any yeast infections or rashes. 10 out of 10 great for those early days when the baby poops constantly and has rashes

Love this, much cleaner during diaper changes
I was gifted this during my baby shower and I honestly thought I would never use it (I had no issue in my mind with applying diaper cream to my baby’s bottom with my bare hand). A few weeks postpartum I was getting annoyed of having diaper cream getting stuck under my nails or on the diaper/babies clothing bc I didn’t wipe the cream off my fingers fast enough or good enough during a change- so, I gave this a try. Now I use it every single time I apply diaper cream to my baby’s bottom. I love it so much that I bought an extra one for upstairs and a mini one for the diaper bag. It makes application of diaper cream much easier and no more mess w/diaper cream getting everywhere. It also has a suction cup on the bottom which is helpful and all I do is wipe off the excess baby cream with a wipe after a change. Plus, let’s be real, sometimes after a diaper change you don’t get the chance to go wash your hands right away, so this has been great for that as well. My husband also uses it to get a good slather of diaper cream on the babies bottom and appreciates not having to get the diaper cream on his hands as well. Highly recommend!

Great Product
I love these spatulas! I actually have 3 so I can keep them around the house and in diaper bags. These definitely aren’t necessary for applying diaper cream, but they make the process mess free. It’s really difficult to get diaper cream off your hands and from getting it all over, especially when you have a squirmy baby. These spatulas help keep the diaper cream to be applied only to the bum and not everywhere else.Pro tip: wipe off the excess diaper cream that is on the spatula onto the diaper to quickly clean it off

Lifts your mood and protects little bums
I found this from a new mommy blog recommending baby gifts that mommy's REALLY need and would appreciate. I (and my daughter and granddaughter) will be forever grateful. So simple. How did no one think of this sooner?!?!?!Oh, how I remember the smell of diaper cream - on your fingers and under your fingernails forever. If you can't wash off the smell and feel, have you really washed off the germs that come from touching a baby bum? My daughter wasn't even interesting in finding out. From Day 1 she used the Put a Bunch of Diaper Cream Directly on the Nappy and Hope for the Best method.I told my daughter that I had a present for her and my granddaughter - a Bum Brush - and pulled it out of the bag with a flourish - she literally fell over sideways in giggles. The gift was already giving by raising the spirits of a sleep-deprived new mother. Then she tried it for the first time. Another fit of giggles ensued. She said it was like icing a cupcake. And it is. The bonus in the 'icing' process is that we both found that MUCH less diaper cream is needed and you get infinitely better coverage of every little nook and cranny. Whatever you pay for the bum brush, you will more than make up in saving several times over on diaper cream.Every time my daughter uses this she giggles and I'm sure that makes diapering more enjoyable for my granddaughter as well.I bought the travel size as well to keep in the diaper bag and I already bought a second brush for my other daughter who is not even married yet or planning on children in the near future. She'll thank me later.Such a great tool. Wish they had this when my children were babies. This is now my go-to baby gift.
