The Way Back Home

I love that it's an actual story. So many books nowadays have just a word or two on each page. This is perfect for little ones, a sentence per page on average. Very cute story. I have several from this author, and so far all are great. Oh and check out the lost and found movie or book, super cute

I loved this one. Oliver Jeffers has a knack of capturing a dash of dream, a pinch of wonder, and a smidgen of valuable life lessons with his tales. His illustrations convey the heart of his stories while his words guide his readers along. I recommend this one! We'll done!!

I love this book. The illustrations are quirky but beautiful. It tells an adorable story of two strangers who work together to solve each other's problems, and then become friends. My 5yo loves it too!

Such another good book by Oliver Jeffers. This little boy is lost and meets an Alien while trying to find his way back home. It is delightful book and cute pictures. They become the best of friends. Highly recommend Oliver Jeffers books. Good for your library. Just by looking at the cover, you can tell it is going to be a great book. My 7 year old grandson can read it.

This is a nice book. The illustrations are cute. The writing and story is very easy to understand. The tone of the story is calming and sweet. It's about a boy who goes to outer space, meets a Martian, and together they solve problems about how to get home. This book is for young pre-school and kindergarten children. I bought this for a 7 year old and it's too simple and young for him. But up to Kindergarten age, it's charming and sweet and a lovely gift and a nice departure from toys that break and cost a fortune.

My grandson who is 3 absolutely loves this book! We read it everyday. He asks questions and remembers all the little details about the story. A second in our collection from the author and I will be purchasing more books for him soon.

Oliver Jeffers is a favorite in our house. This book is super cute. We love the illustrations, and the story is sweet. It is a nice book for bedtime reading and my boys have come to recognize Oliver's wonderful illustrations and his quirky stories. If you like this one, I also highly recommend "This Moose Belongs to Me" and "Stuck."
