"You've tried the rest..."
This is literally true. Well, maybe not ALL the rest, but a half-dozen or more, ordered, put through the test ringer, and except one or two contenders they all went back. Each had some small (or major) disqualifier, perhaps I'll review the DNF's later. But look no further, I may not have discovered perfection, but this is the first BTA I can say does everything well, almost "intuitively". The sound is great, latency low- things TBH I never thought about till I decided to upgrade from my ancient "Hagibis", for me the first and only adapter for years.Might be easier to list the few shortcomings I have- one is the bulk and weight, while not really that much more bulky or heavy, it gives that impression, so I worry about the increased wear on the device's 3.5MM jack. Just takes mindfulness. Second, the display is really bright, handy enough at first but once the operation becomes more familiar, there's not much on a display I need to see, although checking status is always fun. The watch-stem volume control is a treat, it's nice to see we're getting back to actual buttons, dials and switches. Something like a press-stem to change function might be nice, but given the overallperformance of this unit

Paired fast with my Bluetooth ear buds
I travel frequently for business and this device provides an easy way to pair your favorite Bluetooth with the seatback in-flight entertainment system. Charge at home via USB-C the first time and pair with your headphones or earbuds the first time and the memory of the device takes care of the rest so you don't have to try to pair them in a dark airplane cabin. The Receiver mode allows you to use the device to stream audio from your phone to an Aux in port in a rental car or your own car stereo, but the main use case is going to be enjoying the in-flight entertainment system without having to borrow the airline's awful headphones. Takes up very little space, I slip it in my shirt pocket before boarding. Using USB -C charging means there's no strange proprietary charge cable up lose Very pleased with this, long haul flights are now way more pleasant.

Pretty good transmitter!
This isn’t always easy to pair, but once you do, it works great. I used it on long overseas flights with no issues (and much better than having a cord hanging everywhere!), and I also use it at home with a non-Bluetooth TV. Very little lag — really not noticeable— would buy again.

Seems to work fine.
I have tested it at home for both tx and rx functions. For connecting 2 headsets in tx mode, make sure that once the first is connected it is off and not near this unit. Otherwise, it has a harder time connecting to the second. Good that both headsets can receive at the same time. Can’t comment on lifetime.

Bluetooth double pair
The ease to connect two Bluetooth headphones. Works amazing. Best price out there for the design. If you have a dvd in your van get it. No more cables

works without ptoblems
As the computer manufacturers step away from technologies including phone jacks it's created a market for gadgets like this. I bought a new set of headphones meant to be used wirelessly and so I bought this little Jack to plug into the phone jack on the plane to create a bluetooth link. It worked perfectly no problems. The trick is to remember to take it with you when you deplane.

Easy to connect but not very loud
This is my first experience with this type of device so I was happy that others could still listen to the tv when the AirPods were engaged. It was also very easy to pair & connect with my AirPods. However I was disappointed that the volume wasn’t very loud in the AirPods which sort of defeats the purpose of having them. There is a volume control but I could only really hear much of anything in the AirPods with it on the highest level. Going to keep playing with it but so far, not impressed…
