Great functionality!!
Great timer!! I have 4 and use them all year long. In the summer for my fountains and other outdoor devices and in the winter for Christmas lighting. Directions are very clear as how to set it up-I don't need to look how to since I have been using for such a long time. Price is very reasonable for such a multi-use timer.

Great Outdoor Timer
Easy to program and works very well. We have several the past few years for various things like Christmas lights , patio lights and things like that. And, very reasonably priced and works well outside.

They don't last.
I have outdoor string light that run for several hours year round. I had been using cheap timers for the last four years with no issues, but difficult to get them to go on and off in sync. I purchased the two pack of these digital timers on March 26th. Once I figured out the setup, they worked fine and were in sync with each other. Maybe a few seconds off, but that's fine. I unplugged them one night last week to try and see the Northern lights. When I plugged back in, one unit is completely dead. Screen is blank. It's May 15th, past the 30 day return window, but less than two months old. Very disappointing. Reached out to the supplier this morning. We'll see how they respond.Update : The seller responded to my email within 24hrs. Asked for a pic of defective unit, and said they will send a new one. Assuming I get it quickly, thats very good service.Another Update: End of June and one of the units has taken on water and stopped working. I contacted to company, and they are willing to replace it... Again. I've decided to get something more reliable. These are junk.

Great purchase
This timer replaced one we had for our Christmas lights. It's great. I set it at the beginning of the season and it turns the lights on and off all season. We set it to come on and go off at exact times. You can also choose to have it come on dusk to dawn. Once it's set, it does all the work. I'd buy it again.

Works if you can figure out how to program
I have had mine for two Christmases now and year 2 was more frustrating to program than last year was. To the point that yesterday I was ready to email the company to say it didn't work anymore. I eventually randomly stumbled into the proper programming sequence and got it set, but today I honestly couldn't tell you what I did. The programming instructions are terrible! If I had known how difficult it is to program I would never have bought this to begin with,The good part is if you do break the set up codes, it does work reliably and it conveniently holds three power cords which is what my decorations require. A lot more convenient than using three separate timers like I did before. But think of Clark Griswold slamming his two power cords down on the snow, starting his simulated cussing and then kicking his reindeer decorations. That could be you as you are trying to figure out how to get this thing to work!UPDATE - Within a day or two the company responded to my issues by emailing me revised instructions (including photographs and a step by step explanation) that made the programming much easier. Once programmed, the timer itself is again working reliably for the second Christmas season I have owned it. With the more complete instructions I can definitely recommend it to prospective buyers. Thank you, Dewenwils team, for the attentive customer service!

Excellent outdoor timer - use for Halloween and Christmas lights
This is a great solid timer. It will turn off a number of lights with good accuracy. Even if you have a power outage, it will hold a charge for quite a while, doing away with fears of losing your program. Speaking of "program" the capabilities are almost TOO good. You can work dusk to dawn or specifically make time settings for each, or all of the days of the week. Start by reading all the directions carefully and then spend a minute or two learning the functions of every button. I have even written down descriptions to remind me. Then sit back and figure out what, exactly, you want to program (write it down if necessary - raw a diagram.) You can even set a number of on/off times for a single day or days - or make it work at random times. I suppose if you wanted to drive your neighbors nuts, or have them question your sanity, you could really play with the programming! Have fun with this but don't get discouraged! Take your time a pay attention to the readout, it will eventually become "almost" simple. Good luck with this great product. By the way, you can do all the programming indoors, then transport it to your outdoor outlet.

Timer instructions are not clear. At all
If you plan to use the auto timer function and you try setting the ON time to be a time that has already passed (I tried setting a ON time of 3:45pm and it was 5pm) the unit will not turn on until the following cycle (in my case, 3:45 the next day). To get around this, set the ON time for any time after the current time you’re at…and then change it after it’s on. Merry Christmas!
