The FG-200 DDS function generator is an easy to use device that I’ve found to be handy for general purpose functions for testing analog circuitry. It has a very standard 50 ohm output impedance and comes with a coaxial cable and alligator clips that are at 75 ohms, which shouldn’t matter due to the low maximum frequency of this device. The amplitude and frequency are easily adjustable with a knob on the side and buttons on the front panel.I like the verbose LCD screen that states the operating frequency and waveform. Scrolling through the waveforms, there’s a lot of options including standard things like sine, square, sawtooth, and more niche ones like tangent and “ECG” that I off hand think of a use of for my needs.
