Perfect travel size
The 3-in-1 game set is perfect for travelling compact enough to slide into almost any bag. Its around half the size of a tournament chess board, and he pieces are sized perfectly to fit the board. It comes in a very nice looking box with 2 fabric bags for the pieces and for some reason 2 extra queens (not sure why) the board is reversible with Chess/checkers on one side and tic tac toe on the other. Its a very simplistic design and even the pieces are rather basic however for under £15 its perfectly acceptable especially for a travel or practice board. Ideal for children playing a smaller board.I would have liked a 3rd back to protect the board and to not have received the two random queens. travel wise it would make life easier.I would recommend this, in fact I recommend everyone should play chess no matter what age. I started teaching each of my kids from the age of 5 upwards.
