Good and worth
Obage ht 303Bass is really good. deeep heavy bassBass lover won't be disappointedBalanced sound. They have already mentioned not for the loud listeners. This could be used for bedroom listeners. This speakers perfect for bedroom only.Listening songs while working or listen songs for long hours. Not for party speakers for sure.Music quality and loudness completely depend on the input source. If you are playing YouTube and connected with Bluetooth then volume is really much low.Input source is much important in case of Bluetooth connectivity.I'm using YouTube music premium and sound is really great but if you re using some free music app then quality and volume can be disappointed.( This is just my observation)One cons that obage need to fix. When we start the system and its default mode is Bluetooth but you won't able to connect. You need to pick the remote and change mode and again come back to Bluetooth then it will connect. So basically you need remote everytime when you start the system.Bluetooth connectivity is great.

Good Clarity, Good Vocals, Strong Lower Bass, Strong Build Quality But Average Remote Under 5000/-
In the last 20 years I have bought/tried many sound systems/speakers/equalizers from different brands such as Philips, Sony, Pioneer, JBL, Aiwa, Sonodyne, Yamaha etc. Wanted to try an Indian brand (first time for me). I was skeptical and did not want to spend much. Obage delivers what is assured under 5000INR.This system is NOT for loud listeners, house parties or those who want boomy bass.If your budget is 5000INR, want to enjoy clarity in music, clarity in vocals, understand movie dialogues and feel the bass (not hear the bass), then it's a no brainer. It should not be compared with any system above 5000INR or any 4.1 or 5.1. Do not expect Dolby Surround or 4k pass-through in this segment (stereo sound only). Do not expect your home to shake or neighbours to go crazy when you play songs at full volume. This system is enough for a room not more than 175 sq.ft.Any home theatre or music system performs best after its 6-8 hour burn-in period. Also every system (irrespective of brand) produces best frequencies when played at 80%-90% volume.Pros1) No fake/boomy bass. Upper bass is controlled.2) Strong lower bass. Bass that you will feel from the ground up (Plan when placing the subwoofer. The port hole must be at least 12 inches away from the wall).3) Strong build quality. Good quality MDF used. Speakers don't shake nor move from place.4) No distortion at full volume, full bass and full treble.5) Sound stage is around 3 meters which is good.6) Multiple connectivity options. Can be connected to desktop, laptop, TV (dumb and smart both). For mobile phones use Bluetooth.7) Crisp vocals and clarity in speech.8) Good sound separation and power distribution, considering the price. Bass does not choke vocals and high notes. High notes and vocals does not overpower bass.9) It's not completely flat sound signature, but slightly boosted lower bass.Cons1) Overall volume is 15% low when compared to Sony, Philips, Logitech, Boat or any other brand. Hence it is not for loud listeners or house parties.2) Remote quality is average with very limited functionality and no batteries (0.5 star deducted).3) Obage comes with built-in Equalizer. It can only be used in Bluetooth mode (using remote). When connected to PC or TV through aux/optical wires, sound settings has to be modified through connected device.4) Wall mounting plastic quality is average (0.5 star deducted).

Amazing bass and clarity.
Very happy with the sound quality — clear vocals and decent bass.Build feels solid and value for money at this price. What I love most is that it's made in India.Glad I chose Obage over the usual imported brands.

Beautiful sounding speakers
April 26th, 2025 Edit:Never ever go for Obage. After the last message that I received from Obage, there has been no response from the support number via whatsapp. And they are not picking up my calls either. Worst service I have ever seen.April 21st, 2025 Edit:Since the repair is given to third party technician, this is what their cost breakup of the repair quote looks like:"Ic cost rs 150Rs 100 courier costTotal rs 250. SpareRs 590 technical person one visitRs 4 extra per km up an down of technicainApprox kilometres 70x4=280Total rs 1120".I/4 cost of the speaker is being charged by Obage just to repair a faulty IC.Other you can purchase ic only after receiving can get fix by any near technican very easily problem will be solve an cheaper tooBecause we also arrange via third party local technicanApril 19th, 2025 Edit:The ic inside the speaker broke. I happend to buy a second pair of Obage speakers(the Dt2605) two or three months after I bought this one. The ic inside that tower speaker broke as well. Ics inside both pair of speakers broke after the pathetic 6 months warranty was over. And to equate this to my speaker ownership history: I have bought 4 pairs of Edifier speakers since 2009 and all three of them are working perfectly. Can you imagine my surprise when coincidentally both pair of Obages broke just months after the warranty period is over? Makes you really wonder if Indian brands with made in India products are actually giving you quality for the price or just ripping you off for the name. I recommended Obage at the time when I wrote this review to two of my friends, and both had issues with their speakers. Thankfully both could raise a refund as both pairs had issues since delivery. Contacted support and waiting on them to get back to me with their quote. And the worst part is that they hand over speaker repair to their some third party.Really pathetic experience. If this gets repaired and works then I am probably going to give these away and go for a different brand altogether. Both the Obage speakers left me with a very bad experience.Final word: Obage though sounds good, doesn't stay good.Kinda like Hifiman minus the price tag.Chala toh chand tak, nahi toh kal tak. And both my speakers chala toh kal tak.First, I am currently in the middle of building myself a good speaker chain consisting of Mission QX2 mk2 passive speakers, amp and preamp to be made by Anode Acoustics and dac will probably be Ifi zen dac signature edition. This will take some time. Meanwhile I was looking for something that will scratch my speaker itch without costing a fortune. In comes Obage. This model and their 6k dual tower speaker were under consideration. I chose this set mainly because of the small size of the tower speakers. Now coming to the sound, it's v shaped, as in your lows and highs are emphasised and the mids take a bit of a back seat. I am not a vshape sound guy and thus when this arrived, I fiddled with the sub woofer controls(treble and bass knobs) to kind of give it a balanced signature. And once that was done I threw my library of music(metal and rock as that is all I listen to) at the speakers and I was very very surprised at the price to performance ratio of the speakers. These sound so so good.I had Edifier C3 back in 2010 or something which I eventually sold as I needed the funds. Then I was in Edifier camp for a few years having bought their RCN1000, R1280T and R1280DB models. I like them but they are not close to Obage in terms of sound quality minus C3 as I do not remember much about C3's sound as it's been so long.Obage has rca inputs, optical, Bluetooth and radio connectivity. The remote is handy and the range of the remote is fair enough. Bluetooth connectivity is good and sound is good too. That's all I can say about the Bluetooth sound. My main usage of this speakers is from my laptop via my dap(dac mode) into speakers. The speakers didn't sound good enough out of my onboard legion's 3.5mm port. I used one of my daps that was lying around as a dac(digital to audio converter) and voila the sound became crystal clear. I have used it while playing games on my PS5 via my monitors 3.5mm port.I do not know how Obage is not as famous in Indian speaker market as some of the other brands. These guys absolutely deserve the recognition. The sould doesn't distort at loud volumes. I have turned it as high as I cn take it and listened to a few songs and nothing distorts. I listen at low to medium volumes most of the time. The subwoofer will knock your socks off if you want it to.Overall amazing value for money and amazing sound. I just wish I had invested in Obage instead of Edifier. This is a keeper and I'll keep this with me for as long as they last. One point where I have problem with them is that they say "Do not play distored music". I do not know what their definition of distorted music is but as I mentioned before I listen to metal music 80 percent of the time and rest is rock. And they sound so good out of the speakers. And by distored music if they mean metal and rock in general then I do have a bone to pick with Obage. Metal and rock is not distorted music. There is calculated introduction of distortion and effects by the people who have been in the industry for decades. Some of the biggest studios, biggest musicians and biggest labels work diligently to get that specific sound. And if suddenly a speaker brand tells me playing distorted music can only harm your speakers, I'd laugh out loud and then show them the door. So Obage, if you are reading this, care to explain what you mean by distorted music and how playing distorted music can harm the speakers?
