These Are Great Helmets
I bought one of these, exactly the same, over 20 years-ago, in a store at a ski mountain in New Hampshire! I used it forever, every time I skied and really liked it. It kept my ears warm without a hat, and was basically just more comfortable, and believe it or not lighter, than a hat. Recently, because I'm older now and wasn't planning on skiing any more (so sad!) I gave my Giro to a friend for biking and such. At the same time I have a bike and bought a scooter and I had a couple helmets to use on the scooter, but regretting having given the Giro away, so I came here. I could barely believe they still make the exact same helmet (in only one size!) - so easy to replace.These are the best helmets on Earth in my opinion. They're remarkably light. There's nothing like them. Get one, don't hesitate because of the cost; I promise this is a helmet you can keep and use for multiple activities for the rest of your life! I'm gonna keep this one and hold it tight. I'd say they're irreplaceable but really they're just inimitable! Ten stars!

Saved my life
Saved my life. Over handle bars. Hit curb . Cleared bike and clips did release. Head first into cement. Should have broke my neck. Without helmet? Don’t want to go there! The MIPS technology is unbelievable. Ask any biker who has been on the roads for years. Ur going to go down. Most of us collect cracked helmets. This helmet doesn’t crack it ripples and displaces energy. I called Giro and told my story. Offered my helmet for example. They were like;”we hear this a lot” they were nice to offer credit for a new helmet. I had already ordered a new one

Saved me noggin
Was in a smaller accident. Fell to the ground and broke my arm. Doctor asked if I hit my head and I said no since I didn’t feel it. When I checked the helmet later, there was a clear mark indicating I had hit my head. Thank goodness for this helmet. Worked really well. Highly recommended.

Great helmet - light and safe
Good fit, lightweight and safety-minded. So spills yet but feel safe knowing this is on my head. Safety features are great without being intrusive. Good visibility too.

lightweight, comfortable, and protective
this helmet is incredibly light and fits snugly. the 22 vents provide excellent airflow, keeping my head cool during long rides. the matte portaro grey/white/red color scheme is stylish and stands out. highly recommend for both casual and serious cyclists.
