solid multivitamin option
The four capsule daily dosage won't be for all. Additionally, at about $60 for a 30 day dose, this multivitamin is on the premium side of the scale. Overall, it's a solid option with what seems to be good ingredients.

Ithe delayed release might help me get more out of these throughout the day
I really like that this is a full spectrum multivitamin with vitamins and minerals, and that it works as delayed release to provide nutrients throughout the day. I didn't feel nauseous taking these without a lot of food in my stomach, which can happen with some other vitamins. I like these.

Delayed Release. Amazing energy
Edit*. I had to come back now that I have been taking this supplement for over a month. It has absolutely changed my energy level. Also something to note if you get tests for thyroid, it has biotin in it, which can throw off your test results if used 72 hours before hand. This bottle screams quality all over it. Glass amber bottle, 3rd party gmo verified, cGMP compliant facility. This is one of those supplements that you get the value of not needing to buy another bottle of another pill! You need 4 daily actually (they suggest divided dose) so that can give you an idea of how much is actually included. To be clear it is not just a regular multivitamin because is specifically formulated to include the things that people who want help with thyroid and adrenals need. I got this because I liked that it contained selenium and iodine. Big bonus was a whole 500 mg of C which if following the directions is really perfect for spreading throughout the day for me. Also, for me personally I wish it didn’t have calcium but at least it is just a small amount of calcium because I get plenty of that in my diet.Another reason I am Super excited about this Essentials 5 in 1 DR formula is the delayed release because I feel like that will be good for better absorption even though a lot of the vitamins in this already are in a good absorbable form.

A solid multivitamin and mineral supplement
I am interested in health and I take several supplements that help me maintain it. I saw this MD Essentials and I looked at the components and the amounts of them. This is a high-quality multivitamin and mineral supplement and I have been taking it for a while now. I like it. I have no adverse results from taking it and it saves money as I don't have to buy some other supplements as they are included in the caplets. It is comprehensive and covers things like B12 which I overlooked for years and the convenience of 3-4 caplets a day as compared to 10-12 other supplements is a small blessing. As to how well it works - I think I will have to see about a lab blood panel, but that will be a while. I think it's fine :)

Easy to take unknown results
Simple enough directions for dosage and frequency and easy to swallow pills. After 30 days I'm not sure I feel any different or notice any changes.

Decent Multivitamin; Too Much Going On
When this product arrived, my first impression was how great of a job they did when packaging this. That is exactly what I like to see in a supplement as I have seen far too many that show up and you question if the supplement has been exposed to anything or anyone. The bottle is enclosed in a tight bubble pack, the lid is sealed by plastic, and then another protective seal under the lid. The jar is made of glass which adds to the premium feel of this product.I really liked that they used research-backed ingredients and not a bunch of random herbs. I like how comprehensive the list of nutrients is. They cover a broad spectrum with a lot of good stuff and go a step further by using ideal forms and ingredients for most. But went overboard with the dosing. When you see thousands and thousands of %DV that's a red flag for a couple of reasons. For one, you could be getting toxic amounts that go beyond "upper limits," or if they are water-soluble (which most of these are) you are wasting you're money as your body is going to excrete most of it through urine. For this reason I took off one star. However, because a serving is four capsules, you can take just one and that will significantly add to how long this lasts you and make it a better value. However, I still think it could be dosed better. Ideally, for most nutrients you want to see %DV close to 100% or maybe a little higher.I took another star off because they don't have their product third-party tested. Or if they do, then they don't say that they do and don't offer where you can find those results. That is crucial in the highly UNREGULATED supplement industry. Especially for a company that is small and unfamiliar (like this one). Honestly, you very well could be getting only 2 of the many listed nutrients. That is pretty typical especially at the price point they are selling these at.It seems like a lot of thought went into the packaging to give a premium impression and ingredients. But after that, it seems like there is too much going on and makes me question what is going on with this brand and product. To be fair, their website is much more put together versus their Amazon. They have an MD who formulates this, but they don't have any Registered Dietitians on their team which would be ideal to see.
