We love the pupsicle!
We love our pupsicle! I got one for my lab puppy and it lasted over a year. We finally needed a new one and I chose the super chewer one. I’m impressed - it’s clearly very durable. My dog loves her pupsicle. Keeps her entertained for at least 20 minutes or longer. I make some frozen refill treats for it myself to supplement the refills we purchase.

Effective
Wow, thank goodness for this toy. I adopted a beagle that has crazy separation anxiety even when I'm in the same room. Every night she would howl 9-10pm. Until tonight. Gave her this and she chilled for 3 hours, no barking!! Thank you for inventing this!!

Better than the green one
The holder is okay, but the refills I had bought recently seem to have shrunk. They really don’t fill the holder all the way, making it difficult for my dog to lick it all the way down.

Repeat problem with this product
I had a set of these and my two dogs love them. It got to the point I could not unscrew them, regardless of what I tried to call the company tried everything they told me to do as I didn't save my receipt. I could do no more I ordered another set and just received them this week. Use them two times and I have the same problem. I will be contacting the company again. It's a wonderful product except it's not wonderful if you can't use it.

Great Option For Dog Where Other Food Toys Have Failed
Our newly adopted mini aussie is extremely food motivated, but very picky about food toys. He will remain interested in Kongs for about one minute, and even though our senior aussie loves her West Paw Toppl, our Mini will happily sit down with one for about two minutes and then wander away.He enjoys lick mats, but he has figured out that he can bite them and the frozen bits fall off really fast, so one mat keeps him busy for about three minutes and if he pulls hard enough he can get the suction cups to come off and then he has a food toy on the go.I decided to try Pupsicle mostly out of curiosity. Our mini cannot have chicken, so I knew I would need to order the special mold to make completely chicken free options. The mold works really well. Each pupsicle is not very big and therefore if broth is used, not very many calories, which is something I like a lot.The first pupsicle trial I did was just beef broth (Zoup!), one sardine and four pork based freeze dried treats mashed together. I poured it in the mold and let it sit.* As a note - if you are filling the mold the little treat balls (mounds?) fit better in the pupsicle if they are flat on top and not rounded. They do fit if they are rounded, but they need some convincing. We gave our mini his pupsicle and our senior her Toppl and sat back and watched. Our senior went to work and our mini immediately started to fuss. He growled, he barked, he sassed and then he started to lick. He did take one short break to walk around and stare at the pupsicle, but then went right back at it.One full pupsicle of mostly broth took him about 20 minutes. Our senior takes about 35 minutes for her Toppl, but she does not have any teeth, so the comparison is about even.

How is this for "power-chewers"?
I used to fill kongs for my dog until I found pupsicles. I first purchased the green one. Then I realized that after my dog spends his time licking the frozen deliciousness, he turns his attention to chewing the pupsicle. I purposely purchased this style due to the "power-chewer" label. I don't see how the durability of this one is any different than the green version. My dog has made identical markings in both. This is not "power-chewer" quality. I still love the ease of use of this toy, just very disappointed with the branding, as there seems to be no difference from the original except the price.

Bedtime miracle!
Our young husky is notorious for thinking bedtime = playtime. We were looking for something safe that would hold her attention and wear her out mentally at night. This has become a regular part of our household bedtime routine (I homemake the treat for inside and freeze them for a couple weeks supply). We have already bought a 2nd because our senior catahoula/pit rescue wanted in on the bedtime routine. I'm back here to buy another for our vizsla rescue. 4 dog household- only our GSD prefers cuddles over snacks at bedtime.Durability- really depends on the dog. Our husky's pupsicle has tons of teeth marks in it, while our catahoula/pits looks brand new. They have both been using them for about 1.5 years now. Our husky tries to chew out the treat where as the catahoula/pit licks it clean.Ease of opening/closing- eh... could be better. But does partially depend on how often you use it and how clean your dog gets it. I've noticed the hardest times to open it has been when there is tons of leftovers inside and when we don't use it for a few days then go to clean it (oops). Smacking it against the side of the sink seems to work as it dislodges anything that got stuck and dried near opening grove. I've never had an issue closing it.
