Well, what a brilliant thing this is!
My 25 year old very basic Black & Decker heat gun finally died in a puff of smoke last week. So browsing through the hundreds of heat guns available I ordered this one because 1. It was cheap. 2. It had variable heT control whi h my old one didn't.Well, I'm so pleased with it. I've used it several times already for scraping paint and bending plastic sheets and it's just brilliant. I didn't think the temperature control would be that useful but how surprised am I. It's a delight to be able to set the temperature to the melting point of whatever material you're using it on. 👌 It's a very robust unit with simple rocker switch operation for fan speed and a dial for temperature control. I used it for the best part of an hour while shaping some thermoplastic and the body stayed cool throughout. It's powerful too. I reckon on full chat it would probably melt aluminium and potentially could make rusted steel nuts glow red!.I will try this in due course and update here with the results.

Great gun, very shoddy attachments.
This is a great budget gun, with two fan settings and variable heat control. It has no temperature readout, but this is a great gun for the price, very stable when used upright and light in the hand. Powerful and controllable. However, the attachments are flimsy at best and sharp and at worst present a cutting hazard if handled without gloves. The reduction nozzles function well, however be warned they have a very tenuous grip, and if you carelessly use an ungloved hand to twist them off, the thin metal will easily dig in and cut you.Fantastic gun for the price, but the attachments let it down.

Used once so far, but worked well. Love the variable heat.
I bought this to use on some heat shrink tubing for a small electronic job. I love the variable heat dial, so I could gradually turn up the heat until I reached the (still fairly low) temperature I needed. Haven't yet tried it on any jobs needing a higher heat, but on the heat shrink tubing it did a great job. Nice and compact, and quite stable when stood on end between uses.

Hot air heat gun kit with accessories
Seekone hot air gun kit That includes a four nozzles.Feels solid in the hand with decent build quality but has left me feeling disappointed, for the price i think this heat gun should have a better defined temp guide, all you get is a twist nob giving you a low to high scale with absolutely no idea what temp you are getting, surly for the price of £25 at the time of writing this heat gun should have an LED readout, the nozzles aren't the best either as some edges are a bit sharp and i know you should wear gloves but i didn't know i needed gloves on when taking the nozzles out of the packet, so i'm not sure where the money was spent on this but a couple of miner upgrades like that LED display i mentioned would Maybe have got another star out of me.
