It was a great little surprise and definitely reassured me that the craftsmanship was top-notch.As for performance, the toast comes out absolutely perfect, every single time. First toaster I’ve left on the countertop. I looked at so many toasters. I’m picky, even toasting, no annoying alarms. This randomly popped up, ha, and I was smitten.Does it toast well? I bake bread, buy sourdough seeded bread, freeze it. All toast perfectly. It has a frozen button which works well. The seeds are so beautifully toasted. I haven’t toasted bagels yet. I have no doubt that all will be well.I’ve only had it a few months. It was a bit pricey. I use it every day. I hope it lasts twenty years like $30 Oster that croaked just before this one. But that only toasted one side…..

This is a darling toaster, basic in functionality but classy in appearance. Toasts bread efficiently and dresses up the kitchen.

I LOVE my new toaster! Who would have guessed I could be so excited about this purchase? It's beautiful. The pictures on the sides are even prettier in person. The toaster slots are wide enough for bagels. It heats evenly and wonderfully. The buttons on the end have a pretty white light when pressed. The chrome lever is solid and classy. Is this a bit pricey for a toaster? Yes, probably. BUT, I for one, couldn't be happier with my purchase. It was well worth every single dollar paid for it. What a lovely addition to my kitchen. It will always be front & center in the room. It brings a smile to my face!

I've been using this toaster for over a month now, and I must say it's the best one I've owned in terms of design, quality, looks and performance! I can highly recommend this retro style toaster!

Do not waste your money!!! The toaster is now a kitchen ornament (it is pretty) but I had to return it and receive a replacement. The first one quit working after a week and now the replacement has quit working after a few months. It keeps blowing out my circuit breaker. I know it’s a toaster issue and not the outlet. I have toaster oven on the same circuit and it works just fine.

I was drawn to this product because of its pretty color and floral design. I had also purchased the matching milk frother and water boiling kettle. I am disappointed (more in myself) for not noticing that this toaster did not have a bagel function which I like. I am noticing that toasters don't usually fit the bakery breads I buy. A standard slice of bakery made bread is a bit taller than the squat, super soft sliced breads you find in the grocery store bread aisle. Again, not this toaster's fault but I would be very impressed if there was a toaster out there that managed to toast a decent piece of sourdough without my needing to flip the bread upside-down halfway through the toasting process, causing uneven toasting. And, before someone points it out, I do NOT plan on buying a toaster oven or toasting my bread in my gas oven. I do not have the counter space nor am I going to fire up my oven for a single slice of toast.With all of this said, this is a very lovely toaster and I do not regret my purchase.
