🔗 Bridge the gap between modern HDMI and classic audio vibes!
The OREI HDMI ARC to RCA L/R Analog Audio Converter decodes digital HDMI ARC signals from your TV into high-quality analog audio outputs via RCA and 3.5mm jacks. Supporting advanced audio formats like DTS and Dolby-AC3, it delivers up to 192KHz/24-bit stereo sound, enabling seamless connection to older speakers or headphones while preserving your preferred volume settings.

I'm not a Luddite, just late to the Game.
I didn't know that the ARC HDMI jack on my Sony Z9D, *could* provide a superior audio signal. I had been using Sony's headphone 3.5mm jack to a splitter-then to my amps (no receiver)...sounded pretty good all these years...After researching ARC and eARC learned I *could* use this OREI converter...but as many reading this already know (and I found out) that an ARC signal isn't necessarily easily plug-n-play. I needed a few youtube tutorials to make the OREI-ARC function. Success! Excellent stereo sound=way better.

At last OREI DA26 works
I like the assistance/advise I received from OREI’s support team. I have a Bose analogue speaker and Samsung OLED S95C TV. I tried many converters before but, didn’t work. Initially only uTube has audio. Netflix, Disney+ and other streaming apps has no sound. After few trials on changing TV setting it worked. I chosed PCM.

Really wanted to like this....
I have a Sony 43" Bravia TV, and like many newer TVs, there was no variable analog audio out of any kind. The speakers really sound poor, so I wanted to use an external amp and speakers to produce more acceptable audio quality. While the unit mostly works using the e-ARC HDMI port, I found it to be intermittent and unreliable. I set it up trying both the CEC feature, and regular remote control. I am mostly using a ROKU box, which are very reliable. I also tried using the antennae feed from my digital antennae. I had the same issue both ways. At first, I was worried about the HDMI cable, so I swapped it for a higher data-rate cable. It made a slight difference, but it was still flakey, and sometimes would even switch back to the TV speakers on it's own. That problem was worse with the first cable, but persisted with the better cable. Sometime I get no response at all using CEC, bit that was a bit better not using the CEC feature. As such, I returned the unit, and opted for a optical convertor and fiber cable with IR volume and mute control. Unfortunately, now I have another remote, which I was trying to avoid. Sadly, the idea of this unit is great, but I need a better sense of reliability and positive control. The Optical box was also about 1/3 the price. Experimentation and frustration has its price, now I have to make a trip to return the e-ARC convertor, and I will never get back the time I wasted "testing" this unit. Sadly.

Works as expected
This product works as it is expected to. It is a total life saver if your trying to integrate modern tv's with vintage preamps.

Works, adds latency
This is a really neat and unique product that might have some great applications. For me, the converter added noticeable latency compared to the video on-screen. Only one star less because I'm not sure if this might be due to my amplifier setup. It is reasonable to attribute some delay to simply adding another type of digital conversion to the signal path, prior to the digital to analog conversion at the amp.
