I have used this design of PIR sensor on numerous occasions before and, I will continue to do so, because they work!Good precise coverage. Easy to set up. Well made.Ticks all of the right boxes.

Seems to work faultlessly.
Previous detectors without a sensitivity setting have been activated by a boiler flue 12 feet away. This one with the sensitivity turned right down and with the sensor pointing down over a rear door, so far hasn't reacted to the flue and has picked us up going in and out of the door accurately. The fitting and case is a little crude and I have doubts over its weather protection. The outer case doesn't have a seal and is held on with a single screw (which does make fitting a doodle however!!). So far, a thumbs up.

Simple but effective.
I needed a PIR which didn't pick up movement from my next door neighbours front door, as my lights were coming on with every in and out movement they made during low light conditions. This allowed me to select the best angle to achieve that and after a few adjustments it was set to the best zones and operating positions for me. Easy to set up and reasonably priced.

Works but issue
Issue with one of the dials. Very tight and limited adjustment.As an electrician I have used many types. Maybe a one off. I managed to set correct eventually.Wiring terminal has good amount of room for 1 or 2 cables maxI wouldnt personally buy again but not had an issue with it now

Works well
This was a replacement for a similar detector installed many years ago that finally failed after the window over the sensor broke. The instructions to set it up are clear and it's easy to later adjust the length of time the light stays on if you suddenly find yourself in the dark some distance short of the safety of your front door.

Seems good! Fairly tricky to install
The product seems good, works well, and looks OK. Wiring was a little daunting and if it wasn’t for YouTube I’d have given up. I suggest anyone thinking of buying this looks at the online videos for assistance!
