I originally wrote that the wire has a non-conductive surface. That's true, but my bad. Though I did see somewhere a description of this wire as "bare copper wire", it does not say that when you click on the product. In the description itself, it notes coated with polyurethane. I missed that. The wire is as described, and that poly coating amazingly stops all conductivity, so it is also likely to serve its intended purpose to keep this wire shiny when used for projects. Seller offered me a refund, but my fault so I will keep it for other projects.

I purchased his to wrap, stones for jewelry. It is easy to handle somewhat easy to iron back out if you decide not to use it, but not too many times, but altogether I would give it two thumbs up.
