This dressing is ideal to dress various wounds, the adhesive border keeps the dressing in place and wounds well covered. Removing the dressing is easy, whilst the adhesive sticks well to the skin, you can even shower with the dressing on and it will remain in place and it is removed with ease and will not tug on the skin. Recommended seller, I would be happy to buy from this seller again.

I have been using Allevyn for the last 15 years given a number of medical issues. As far as I am concerned, this is a must-have wound covering to keep in the medical cabinet. I am particularly vulnerable to wounds on the lower legs/ankles and use Allevyn together with Inodine (antimicrobial wound dressing). I initially used these products on the basis that they were applied by the GP Surgery Practice Nurse and I now use them myself for any subsequent MINOR wounds so that I do not need to attend the GP Practice.Allevyn is particularly useful in that it adheres so well (and stays on even after a shower) and is so easy to remove without damaging very delicate skin areas.The dressings are individually expensive, but are worth every penny in terms of value ratio to wound healing.

These pink plasters provide a cushioned protection for wounds and are very gentle on the skin, unlikely to tear delicate/fragile skin when removed.I have given them 4 stars because I have found when applied to the heel they start to shift and become unstuck - the ideal cushioned plaster for the heel area and for staying put is Tegaderm foam dressings. These too are expensive plasters, but also deserve a place in your First Aid cabinet alongside the Allevyn gentle border plasters.

I need to wear a dressing for weeks at time. The Alleevyn dressing was soft on my wound and the adhesive didn’t irritate my skin.

These are very effective sticky plasters for wounds which need draining a bit. I am sure they aid recovery as they have absorbent materials and let air through. In the beginning they did tend to fall off very quickly when they were swamped by the amount of discharge but eventually they stayed on, even at night, and are then really good. They are a bit expensive, the NHS would only give me one or two at a time when there needed to be at least 2 a day (£3 a day) for several weeks. These are really good to have in a home medical kit as they can be used with wounds more excessive than the type of plasters that are sold in chemists can cope with.

I bought these for my husband who has hairy arms. These dressing stay in place without any creasing. And are very easy to remove without pulling any hairs from the arm. I would also recommend using on children as they are so gentle.
