It's not the OEM filter.. sending it back.
I saved the original factory 2023 Honda filter after 5000 miles for later comparison (or I could have torn it apart to look for metal particles). Love my non turbo, not too powerful 2.0L HR-V, so I wanted to splurge (pay for) whatever a Honda-approved oil filter costs. Bought a pair, got a pair each in it's own box with (at least they're honest on the box and labelling!) Made in China clearly marked on the box. Did a visual side by side inspection of these new filters versus my original Honda-branded filter..... the blue paint is a good match, but none of the label info suggests they might be an OEM match, no Honda part number, no "H" Honda logo like my original filter has. Overall size, and thread of the center hole, and gasket, all look good. Inner function of the bypass valve and filter material, that's impossible? to check before installing, so while these may be perfectly good, I am sending them back and will spend the full price at the dealer parts counter.

Chinese fakes
This is one of the cheapest Chinese fakes. Even the color of the metal does not match what was stated.

Not oem misleading representation
Not oem advertising misleads you into thinking this is oem how is China manufacturer able to use a Honda part number on their product? For basically the same price just by genuine Honda filter

NOT an OEM quality filter
Piece of lightweight junk. Took off the old filter - which is 2x heavier and clearly better made. JUNK
