My kiddo loooovvess her axolotl! Definitely a bathtub or outside toy if you use the pool. Towels are ok, but realistically your kid will make a mess. You need a good amount of water in for it to swim. We’ll have fun in a bigger pool for sure.

Granddaughter loves this little swimming axolotl. I put this in her Easter basket and her little brother got the little swimming sea turtles! They are enjoying using these at bath time! I also gifted one to my great-niece for her birthday and she loves hers too!

Cute, but that doesn't matter when it stops working after 1 day of use. This was a birthday gift for my 7 yr old. She fell in love with it and put it to swim in it's pool. The next day, it stopped swimming. Shame on this company for making such poor quality toys and letting kids down. Now I have to return it for a new one.

SO worth the money! My 6yr old daughter loves it.
