Have to read.
I’ve read a few books on how to read people, and I think this book helps add to my arsenal of learning how to be better at noticing little things about people I know people are gonna lie and normally that doesn’t offend me or bother me but it’s good to know that you hold the truthwhen you can read the different signs, so I highly recommend to read this book to add to your wealth of knowledge of how to understand and read people.

Basic Information
The book gives basic information on reading people's body language and understanding social and verbal cues. It goes into a shallow explanation of reading tone and emotion through text and email, as well as when to tell if someone is lying and also a small section on being able to read the body language of a child. A child's body language being different than an adults because they are not yet able to express their emotions properly. I'd like to buy something more in-depth next time, though! For a beginner, this would be a great book, and I'm still wanting to try some of the exercises of reading body language that the book gives. Overall the book was a somewhat interesting but still educational read.

Treasure Trove of Information
If you aren't convinced of the need to improve your people reading, that will change after reading the first couple pages of this work. In this book, Chase shares all the secrets you will need to know if someone is lying to you or when it is not a good time to ask for a raise. I believe improving our people skills is one of the most influential skills we can work on for any area of life. So, I'd highly recommend this book for anyone who knows someone!

Extremely interesting
I found this book worthwhile and definitely happy with my purchase. Reading people effectively is not an inherent skill but an important part of communication. This books covers all areas of how and why understanding people is important….from learning basic verbal and non-verbal cues to reading social cues or simply how to interpret the emotional aspect of a text or email. All of this was quite interesting and informative.

A Must-Read Guide to Understanding People
This book was a true eye-opener! I never realized the power of nonverbal communication and how much I was missing by not being able to read people. After reading this book, I have a much better understanding of how to accurately read other people and use that understanding to foster deeper connections. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to improve their communication skills and relationships.

Interesting
I feel like I’m good at reading people, but this book takes it to a whole new level. I just wish it had illustrations to help explain the micro expressions. After reading a couple, they all mix together. “The eyebrows are lowered and drawn together which causes vertical lines between the eyebrows. The eyes appear hard and the nostrils flared. The lips are pressed together with the lower being tenser. The corners of the mouth point downwards and if the lower jaw sticks out slightly, the mouth may appear square.” A picture with each description would be so helpful!

Ad half way thru book
I enjoyed the book…very simple….what I did not like is to come across an ad for the author half way thru trying to get the reader to do a review…so here you go. Kind of weird to be between chapters instead waiting until the end of the book…kind of a turn off. Sorry just my perception.
