Good book for beginners. A couple of sections will need a second read as some of the technical jargon may overwhelm some beginners. Other than that it's great reference/tutorial in a book...

This book explains photography in an easy to understand way. It uses great photos and graphics to explain concepts and various steps. He also gives you tasks to do that helps you practice what he is describing. I love the book!

This beginners starts with the basics and moves to the important stuff pretty quickly. It has helped me understand how to take a picture and what equipment I’m going to need for the future. Great book.
