“YouTube Influencer” is an excellent resource for those looking to begin a YouTube channel. I’ve oftened wondered how to do this and knew nothing about it until I read this book. It’s easy to read and understand, very well organized, and gives you a step-by-step approach to everything you need to do to begin. I also liked the way the author got down to business right away and didn’t spend chapters of time on the history of YouTube, and the myriad reasons why you should be interested in getting a channel of your own, and so forth. That, in my view, is a serious mistake that all too many self-help and how-to-do-it books make. I don’t pick up a book to read the history of the subject unless it’s a history book (though brief info about it can be interesting). And I’m already interested in the subject, or I wouldn’t have picked it up in the first place. I want to get straight to the heart of the matter without wading through half the book to get there. Bravo to this author for not making that mistake. My attention was engaged right away with useful info that spoke directly to why I got the book. Which is why I’m giving it 5 stars and highly recommending it to anyone who is interested in learning how to set up a YouTube channel of their own.

It is a book on how to use the tools of YouTube to make your videos findable. It discusses the algorithms of YouTube and how they work. Lots of discussion of how the algorithms work. And it offers suggestions on how to take advantage of how the algorithms work. In fact, that is mostly what it tells you, how to work the system.Those who already have their videos up but are not getting enough viewings will greatly benefit from what this books has to offer. Those who haven’t ventured into the world of YouTube creation won’t find how to make the video but will be better prepared when planning what they will do with their video when it’s time to produce it.

I wanted to start my own YouTube channel and this is the practical guidebook to do that. I write and blog and was thinking about another way to reach an audience and YouTube seemed like the best online way to go. Right off the bat, the book goes into finding your niche, which most guides recommend, but this book tells you how to find it. YouTube Influencer covers it all: finding your niche, setting up and managing your channel, finding the right hardware and software, creating quality content and much more.

I’ve read so many books, looking for real-world YT advice and steps written in understandable language. I’ve finally found it in this book.I’ve found out why my previous attempts didn’t work. This book gave me a good introduction for starting a YouTube channel and developing an audience. The book covers using YouTube analytics and other tools and gives some basics for getting started. I feel this book gave me some basics to get started if I were going to start a channel.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The author clearly knows his stuff. Covering all aspects of YouTube from concept to creation to marketing to monetization, detailed step-by-step instructions and advice are given in a well-organized, easy-to-read way. A bonus is a chapter on developing a growth mindset. Recommended.

Very basic obvious tips for beginners. If you find the information that you will need a camera and microphone to shoot videos on YouTube useful, then you can buy this book.
