Q: Will this work with Creality 1.1.5 motherboard. If yes, do you have documentation of needed changes to the firmware file?

I don't think this will work with the silent mainboard. It doesn't have the necessary connection. You'll save yourself some pain switching to a SKR board.

Q: What do i need to do to install on Creality Ender3 Pro

I have creality ender pro 3 v2. I needed to swap the white and black wires in the connector that plugs into the sensor. The wire sequence was white black red. I had issues with the signal. I then moved to black white and red and all is good.

Q: Will it work with octoprint?

The Smart Filament Sensor plugin works, but the first time I ran and configured it, it didn't detect the movement. After clearing the data for the plugin, and re-starting it. I set my pin (GPIO 11 worked well) in the filament sensor plugin config screen, saved, then ran the test. It detected immediately after this.
