Incredibly useful!
It is said of phones that they are the best camera because they are the only ones you have with you at all times - so more useful than that DSLR sitting at home when there is a need to take a photo when you are out and about on your day to day tasks.Well, this is a proper multitool that is small enough to put on your keyring which means it will be far more useful than a bigger one that you will tend to leave at home because of its bulk or having a locking blade which makes it illegal to carry in the UK.It has the usual knife, file, can/bottle opener, Flat Blade and Philips screwdrivers but the main assets for the size are the scissors and pliers. The scissors work extremely well and are as big as you would find in a larger multitool. The pliers are understandably smaller (and thinner) than you would find in bigger equivalents but still very useful for many tasks. As a real personal example from just yesterday, my door lock got jammed and I could not turn the key. I tried using the whole keyring for leverage but that just twisted the main ring out of shape. Thankfully, I had this recently delivered tool in my pocket and with the pliers I was able to exert enough force to turn the lock which opened with a heavy snapping sound - it really was jammed and I would have been stuck without some tool at hand. I made sure to immediately fit the multitool onto my bent keyring! And that is the point of this: it is not as heavy duty as much larger tools (though the scissors are comparable and overall build quality is excellent) but because it will always be with you, it could be able to get you out of the little unexpected emergencies you may encounter in your day to day life.

Absolutely the best, most functional multitool for the price and size.
I bought this a while back and have been compelled to write a review by how fantastic it is. I went from having no EDC to quite a decent one and this product was a big part of that. The product is incredibly compact and takes up almost no room in my EDC pouch but equally you could have it on a keyring or pocket clip and barely notice it thanks to the relatively light weight. The design is a little odd at first but after some use it's clear it's all for a purpose: every curve and chamfer is to facilitate the tool's operation. What I like is that it has dedicated scissors, AND pliers/wire cutters which is unheard of for a tool of this size. The fit and finish is almost perfect with tools easily rotating out and the scissors/pliers "snapping" into place when you open them then having a pleasing spring tension while using them. The engineering really is impressive how so many separate mechanisms have been fitted into such a compact multitool. My one complaint with the product is that, on my unit: unsure if this is an universal one, the scissors ever so slightly spring open when in the closed position. This only matters because it means the knife blade can be slightly harder to get out while folded as it catches on the scissors element. This is easily overcome by slightly squeezing the scissors in or pushing them down and then the knife will come out no issue, but it's a shame this one tool doesn't come out without a previous step first. Of course none of the tools are designed to be accessed one handed so this workaround is no issue once you know it. For that reason I'm keeping it at 5 stars. The pliers are useful for both using the "needle nose" and bolt driver sections with decent grip and leverage. The wire cutters are sharp and useful but of course cannot flush cut. The blades are also non-replacable unlike a leatherman so don't cut anything too hard with them. The knife is great: obviously UK Legal by being well under 3 inches and non-locking, but still useful for packaging, string, you name it. Comes fairly sharp and seems to hold that edge but if you wanted it razor sharp I think you'd have to sharpen yourself. The combination bottle opener and can opener are perfect: I opened both easily. The combination nail file and flat head screwdriver is useful: although I found one side of the nail file was nearly useless the other was adequate. The flathead screwdriver is useful and a decent size for precision work as well as capable of a few larger screws.Similar can be said for the "2D" phillips head screwdriver, although you cannot put much torque through it. Think small machine/electrical screws: forget about unscrewing wood screws from wood.As an example of the functionality I recently took on a project where I put an old TV aerial back into use. Other than the drill through the wall, this tool was capable of every other task. It took the metal knockout out of the pattress box, unscrewed and screwed in the faceplate (flathead), unscrewed and screwed in the terminals (phillips), cut the aerial wire (scissors - the wire cutters are far too small for that), stripped the wire and plastic sheathing (knife + pliers), helped me tighten the new aerial connectors onto the wire (pliers) etc.If you were going to do a whole house worth of wiring you'd want a dedicated tool but the advantage of this tool is for a one-off job like this: by the time it'd have taken me to source all the dedicated tools for this job, this little tool that I always carry on me had already done the job.Would recommend 100%.

Great light weight and small multi-tool though the knife blade was blunt
This has replaced my Swiss Army Rambler as my main EDC (though the latter I still do occasionally carry) and it has proved very useful from the off (as the cross head was used to tighten the bolts in a chair in a hotel I was staying in the night after the multi-tool arrived).I have had one issue with it, though may not be common as I chatted with someone else who bought one of these around the same time and did not have the same issue. The knife blade was blunt, in fact it was rounded. Fortunately I have a grinder and so maintain my kitchen knives so I carefully ground an edge without scratching the finish (not something I was capable of in my early days of knife grinding). Now it has a sharp edge which appears to be lasting. (II used two grades of whet stone followed by a honing steel).Note the clip in the pictures is an extra I bought separately.

Excellent quality, full-size tools in a pocketable size
Probably the best keychain multi-tool I’ve owned. I carried a Swiss Army Cadet (Alox) for over 10 years and have tried several other brands since, including Gerber, but none matched the build quality I wanted. This NexTool feels rock solid, with no wobble in the joints and a nice, secure lock-up on each tool. What really sets it apart is the inclusion of full-size pliers and scissors — far more practical than the half-size tools you often get on smaller multi-tools. The pliers have a good grip and are actually useful for real tasks, not just emergencies, and the scissors cut cleanly without feeling flimsy. All the tools are easy to open and comfortable to use despite the compact size.I wanted something that gave me the functionality of pliers and scissors without carrying a bulky multi-tool or another Swiss Army Knife, and this hits that sweet spot perfectly. Highly recommended if you want a small tool you’ll actually use every day.
