Liftmaster Keypad Replacement
Our home has a 1999 Liftmaster opener with red/orange learn button and this universal keypad works perfectly. Excellent instructions, easy to program & great price.

Easy to program, works great
My garage door opener has a purple programming button. The keypad came with very good step-by-step instructions, written in English, not an obscure translation from some foreign language. The programming steps worked right away and it only took 2 minutes to read and implement. The keypad was easy to install on the door jamb.I also tested a couple of keychain remotes that came with the opener motor, and their programming is still intact. On the present keypad, I also like the flip-up lid. The old one, that had quit, had a slide-up lid which constantly slid back down, which was an annoyance. The flip-up design should work much better.Another feature I like is the ENTER button on the keypad. I have multiple garage doors, all with keypads. On some of them the "0" key worked the doors, on others it was the "#" key, which often confused and irritated me while entering the code. The wide Enter button on the new keypad makes it clear which one to press.I'm 100% happy with this purchase.

Works Great At A Great Price
My old garage door keypad opener, attached to my house, stopped working due to the battery wire breaking off up inside the remote. This is about a 20 year old opener so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on the remote because who know how much longer the opener itself will last.At 17.99 minus a 5% discount offer I was suspect of just how good this thing would work. I should not have been worried at all. It was easy to install, the keypad lights up so you can see it in the dark and the keypad actually works better than the original that came with the garage door opener. There was one minor problem with getting it to pair with the my opener. There are 4 choices the keypad offers during the pairing process. The "learn" one which I thought would work didn't. In my case, I needed to pair it using the second choice which is 314 Mhz Security. This took about 30 seconds to correct and now it works great. I didn't take any stars off for that because it wasn't an issue to me.HINT: I paired the remote to my opener before attaching the remote to my house. That way if I needed to try a different pairing method/frequency or some other unknown issue, I could easily do so while I was on the ladder by pushing the pairing button on opener's motor housing which is attached to the ceiling of my garage. Since I had the remote in my hand there was no getting off the ladder and then walking back and forth to where I attached the remote to my house. After I paired the remote with the opener and saw everything was working as it should, then attach it to the outside of my house.

Great replacement for old Craftsman remote
Have an older Craftsman opener (purple learn button). The old Craftsman remote would no longer close the door. Opening was iffy. Tried this one. Programming was easy and straight forward. As others have noted, the one button close does not work. It may work once after making sure it is activated but does not work after that. Not a show stopper but I did take off one star for that. Other than that it works great. Used the same screw holes as the old one. Even the dirt lines left from the old remote lined up with the new one.

No issues and does the job.
It does the job. It beeps on every button press which is different than the first party version. At first I didn't like that but it has a valuable benefit: you know you pressed the keypad hard enough to register the button press. On my original, you had to press really hard and hope it worked when you hit the enter key. Lot's of retries of the code on the original. This one we never have to do that.Easy to setup.

Replaced Craftsman outdoor controller
The unit replaced an old Craftsman outdoor unit and worked perfectly! The enclosed instructions were confusing, to me at least.Programming steps are:-Hold * and # on controller until red LEDs stop blinking-Press 'Learn' button on garage door opener and yellow LED lights-Enter 4 digit PIN of choice on controller-Press 'ENTER' twice on controller (garage door opener 'clicks', indicating signal link)-Press "0" on controller to end sequenceThe controller is now ready to use. Press the four digit PIN and "ENTER".The garage door opener should operate. The unit's price is unbeatable and quality excellent, a great buy.
