METER STAR New AA Battery Ignition Switch Kit Ignition Control with Electrode Spark and Independently Control The Ignition Switch

I had a hard time finding an igniter that would fit into my travel trailer cook tops. The cook tops used piezo type and failed to work most of the time.The trouble with most of these battery powered igniters is that their mechanisms are often too big to fit in areas that had the piezo mechanisms. This setup uses a remote push button switch which means that the igniter mechanism can be mounted in a larger area nearby. The hole for the switch may have to be enlarged to fit the switch but a step drill will make short work of that without damaging the cook top control panel. I think this setup is the best solution for fitting a battery igniter into tight areas.Still working after several months.

The switch was easy to install. I was weary at first, after reading a review that discussed the switch not having a great amount of width for installation. I mounted mine on a 1/2” pine board. I routed the back side to lessen the amount of width I would need from the switch. This worked perfectly! The switch has a classy look and is very functional. Great value at a low price! I have received compliments regarding its installation and integration.
