It is a great game that teaching critical thinking
My 7 year old some got this as a birthday gift. It is a great game that teaching critical thinking, sequencing, and beginning coding skills. He loves the challenge as he's progressing through the book. We have since purchased two as brithday gifts for his friends. It is engaging and fun!

I bought this for my son for Christmas and he LOVED it! I really liked the way it started off with simple problems and added concepts and difficulty as he moved on. It was a hit and we have purchased other coding games in this series too.

Teaches but not really fun
We have this and use it, obviously, so i recommend playing music in the background while you play because the direct "play" really isn't that fun. HOWEVER, it does teach well.

Easy setup and engaging!
My son was able to understand the game and loved the challenge of getting to each next section in the book of code puzzles (intermediate, advanced expert).

Not sure why kids didn’t go for it
Not sure why but my students in grades 4-5 did not find this game very entertaining and it is never chosen! I tried this game in a tech lab ! Kids do know how to code.

No actual robot.
Had fun playing with my 7 year old daughter but was a little let down that the "robot" is just a cardboard cutout. There are no electronic parts to this game.

Great for wee ones that desire to code.
It keeps my cousins entertained and aids them in digesting difficult concepts.
