The media could not be loaded. Goodbye disgusting pads and tampons! These babies are IT. They don’t fit like something a sexy model would wear but I’m not a model, they’re comfy enough. I’ve had these a while and unfortunately they keep getting thrown in the dryer by my husband so a bit of the elastic is starting to fray (just a little, these should be line dried) but for the amount of months I’ve had & used these they’re great.Flow: I honestly don’t care if you judge me - I only got 3 pairs of these (poverty) & I lived in a house with 4 adults & 2 kids so I had to do what I had to do. This may be TMI but if you don’t want to hear about the actual period undies experience don’t read the rest. On heavy days I can only wear them for a day. A couple of times I’ve bled through a tiny bit during particularly brutal days so if you’re going to the workplace every day or something bring a backup pair just in case. On medium flow days, sometimes I’ll try sleeping through the night in them to carry to next day & this doesn’t always go well. In light flow days I can wear them for 2 days but that’s literally the max.Leakage: You will start to be able to feel the wetness on the outside of the panty if you check while you’re in the bathroom. If you’re bleeding particularly hard you may smell the coppery tinny smell of blood but it’s not like you walk around stinking, the smell stays contained. Sometimes it can come out the sides by your inner thighs too…Seriously though, for the most part, these things have you covered. They’re comfy, they are way less bad for the environment and your body than pads or tampons & I cannot recommend these enough. Even if you just deal with minor incontinence these are massively helpful. If you can & your flow is a 5-7 day thing get 2 packs.Love these. If I didn’t think they were helpful I wouldn’t put my undies on display for all of Amazon to see. It’s embarrassing & I did it anyway, so you are welcome.

Very helpful tool in managing incontinence.
Purchased these for use with incontinence pads. Really help when I have an "over flow". Gives me a little extra time with dry pants to get my wet pads changed. Hip huger style more comfortable and doesn't have the old lady look of the brief which is somewhat over sized.. Thanks Hanes. Every little thing helps!

Best brand so far! 4.5 stars
I've tried several brands of menstrual underwear, and none of them come close to hanes. The heavy ones recently even held up to a miscarriage. I just wish they came in more styles and colors and that the styles and colors came in different absorbancies.

Never going back to anything else
I hate pads and tampons. I got a bunch of these because they’re fairly priced and I gotta say, I love them. I’ll literally never go back to anything else now that I have these. They’re comfy, can be hidden under clothes, don’t leak, and get the job done.

Diaper type feeling but good price for heavy flow emergency
It is a diaper type padding over the butt that is off-putting to me. Fit is fine in everything except the padding. It makes me feel like a bubble butt or a duck. I would wear them to stay home or lay in bed not comfortable or functional for actually wearing them out of the house. The absorbency is good. But material is synthetic and not as breathable as claims. The price is good so there is that - these would be good to keep on hand for heavy flow emergencies - like in the glove box of the car, etc. But if you want the best period underwear, I recommend the more pricey cora brand.

Don't buy these
These feel icky and they're terrible quality. I'm looking for a better brand.

Poorly designed
These are so uncomfortable! Feels like you're wearing a diaper. The panel is so big and the seam for the panel is so thick and uncomfortable. The material on the rest of the panty is so thin you can just about see through it. I washed them in cold water and hung to dry...my hipster went to the size of a bikini. Very disappointed
