Great
Works well, took a little longer to install due to no neutral cable, but easily rectified with included box which wires into the light. Paired easily with WiFi and easily setup with my alexa.Buttons work flawless with the touch and very aesthetically pleasing to look at.

Did what I wanted but some issues
We'd had a more traditional timer light switch for a long time ()the type with the clock/programmer built into the switch) and whilst it worked find with incandescent bulbs, using any sort of low energy (either CFD or LED) the bulb would flicker. when off. I really wanted to fix this issue so I needed a to replace it with a switch that would support "no neutral" operation. I had bought a switch a year or so ago and whilst it worked with LED bulbs with no flicker I could not get the app to connect in any way despite trying both an Android and Apple phone and had to return itI decided to give it another go and selected this device. This looks sleek and elegant and has a well made appearance. I'm not 100% sure about the 2 colour LED indication (Blue off, Orange on) but its not awful - that's just personal tasteWhat I tried differently this time was that it can be really awkward to set up when they are fixed to the wall and you may need to keep removing and refitting. so I made a small rig to power the switch and bulb on the desk. This meant that it was very easy to set up the switch quickly and safely without having to keeping switching the light ring off at the consumer unitUsing this meant that I got the switch set up, programmed and running very quickly, and I could then fit the switch in the wall and the job was done.My wall box was deep enough as well - check before buying as these type of units do need a deeper than standard switch boxSince then its worked fine and I am pleased with itOn the slightly negative side, I did have trouble initially connecting the phone as the behaviour I had did not match the instructions, for example the LED colour and behaviour did not match - in the end it "sort of happened" and I am not quite sure howSecondly when I initially set it up I did not create an account. About 2 months later I got a new phone and tried to set that up with the app again and creating an account. I went from an Android 9 or10 phone to Android 13. I have failed totally so far to connect on the newer phone. it gets so far and then fails at the last point. I have tried switching my router to 2.4G only and all the other suggestions but it will just not connect. I still have the older phone so I need to keep this for setting the switch. This is really irritating because I think if my new phone had connected I'd have bought 1 or 2 more of these. I will have another go but it seems like a lot of hard work for something that shouldn't have beenAnd it was worth me making the test rig as that made setting it up a lot less painfulSo overall 4 stars - lost the star for the app and connectivity issues

Great idea if it worked. Saved buying multiple bulbs for a lounge chandler.I have installed 3 in total. Only 1 has continued to work without issue. 3rd one I returned as 1 of the gangs didn't work and had to order another where i found the inners were different (so I guessed a upgrade to a older inferior unit) unfortunately after 4 weeks one the unit freezes with the only way to reset it is to remove the power, easier for me to turn off the downstairs lighting power at the fuse box, after this the switch may work for 3 days or only 2.Out of 3 un use#1. Seems ok fingers crossed#2. Controls me and decides if to turn light on based on it's mood, rather than my requests. (Like being married)#3. One of the 2 gangs would not work, a older looking unit and I suspect by the packaging a previously returned unit sent back out !#4. Completely dies and needs power removing to reset constantly.

When you need to make the house easier to live in.
What I liked after following the wiring diagram. It comes within the packaging explaining how easy it is to following the instructions. And listening to my brother a qualified electrician. If you're not sure go to YouTube place in the name in search engine " smart light switch installation" and you will get videos of how to install it . If you can't or won't do the installation your self. Get an electrician to wire in the device's for you. The only fiddle part is putting in the capacitor. If you are going to do it yourself please MAKE SURE THAT THE POWER IS OFF AND THE FUSE BOX IS LOCKED " or you know that your the only one in the building. As soon as it powers on Alexa straight away recognize it and added it to the list and Google home recognized the installation and acknowledged it. That was me happy as Larry know I say " Alexa front room light on, Alexa front room light off" or go too Google home look for the icon and watch as I turn the lights on and off with out moving " Google also has voice activation" . Know too do the rest of the house. Will write a report about that when I have completed it. Will be back in 12 or 24 month's too write my final report.

Touch Screen Not Working
Needed a smart light switch for my downlights for my porch area. Installation was straight forward just two wires. I took the precaution of ordering an extender which paid off as the back box depth would not have been deep enough. It was impracticable to use the transistor supplied as I have multiple lights, as it happens it was not need as there was no flickering of the lights (I understand that the transistor alleviates that protentional issue). I did struggle to get the switch to 'talk' to my wifi router. Found out that my Sky router had two channels 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz I had to access the router setting to temporarily suspend the 5.0GHz signal as that switch only works on 2.4GHz. Took quite a while to get the connectivity working but got there in the end. The issue I have now is frustratingly the touch sensor to manually switch it on & off just will not work, does anybody have any ideas to get it to work?
