Works great. I have a 22-lb dog and this is a great target stick. I also have a longer one with a large "ball target", but this one is great because it is easy to fit into a pocket or training pouch. Love that it is retractable, that's the best part actually. It really helps having a target stick with small dogs because I can lure her into position (down, bow, spin, etc), with bending over and being in her face. She's hyper so she has jumped up and crashed into my chin before and that wasn't fun.

I haven't gotten into it yet, but you don't really need to in order to tell it's a good product! I will say i wish the ball was bigger for larger dogs, or an option for a touch stick for large dogs because i feel like starting off it will be difficult with such a small target.On the bright side, one of my cats love it so it doubles as a cat toy! Lmao

I bought this project for training my two dogs to walk at my side. It’s great value for the money and it works wonderful.

I'm actually studying to be a dog trainer and got this for my tool kit. However I have two senior kitties at home and I figured the target would be a fun way to work with them. They really took to it right away! Kitties are curious so the ball is an easy way to get them moving and jumping without solely using treats. Also great for non-food or play motivated pets. With kitties I've found it best to keep it put away until play time. That way they associate it with fun and keeps it interesting when they do see it. The ball target is lightweight but I could see it deteriorating quickly or even coming apart with use.

My dog took to this training tool right away. I like the telescopic handle as this is a great function depending on what you are trying to train your pup to do. Great value for the money,. This durable target stick will last for along time. Definitely worth the purchase for training purposes.
