I'm new to the solar gig and needed to find a reliable method of attaching a total of 4 panels to the variety of roofs. These clips allow you to be a little creative in terms of available mounting points both in the roof and the panel. I've used them horizontally and vertically with both classic and architectural shingled roofs with no leaks so far. The mounts are made of 2mm stamped aluminum and are easily modified with a simple cut-off wheel. The kit also has necessary machine screws and tap screws/silicone washers for attaching to both panel and roof (wood or metal). The silicone washers help ensure a leakproof seal.

These work VERY WELL! I just have to shake my head a little about the price of everything. At the price I paid for four sets - to support four panels - I'm spending about $5 per panel for this brackets kit. Funny, the panel I bought used had come off someone's roof in a solar upgrade. I paid $10 per panel. So the brackets cost is non-negligible! Still worth the price for getting a very neat looking and strong mounting solution. I stuck my first panel onto a side wall of a new plastic garden shed. The screws in this kit are too long for my shed wall, but the right screws are easy enough to come by.Not sure if the roof screws are stainless steel. I think that the nuts and bolts for attaching the solar panel are stainless. If not...

Work great. I don't know what else you can say about these other than you need 4 per panel. Very solid compared with others I've tried. Good stuff.

love these it makes it so simple to mount solar panels great for roofs or wooden diy rack mounting will be buying more

Cost effective way to mount most solar panels.Reason I have them a 4 star is the 250 watt and larger panels the holes aren’t lined up and require some drilling to use that could be prevent with just a slightly longer slot on the bolt side of the mounting bracket. Because of this it takes an additional 5 mins or so per panel to install.
