1 negative comment about this product I bought: the LCD screen does not work (but, I see with other reviews that it should work the same way I already knew there was a possibility that I'd get one that didn't based on some more reviews). So I won't bother wasting batteries on the radio. (Which it does play, I checked that just so I could point out that this player functions in that listed manner too.)HOWEVER! 🥰I didn't get this for the LCD screen. I know what CDs I'm using and I know what track number is what.This cd player is replacing the other portable cd player I have (in the photo, early 2000s, pre '04). The old one will still play music, but only in 1 ear 😅 (I had another '09 GPX cd player too that was broken from battery acid which was 1000% my fault for not taking better care of it. But I saw I could replace this one with a similar flair, I went for it.)The sound quality is really great, even plays in both ears 😜 so I know it's a really great replacement already and will play my CDs in the desired manner. I'm sorry, but my Bluetooth headphones don't outlast my thirst for music. And they don't play music while they charge and phones nowadays just don't have aux love. So, great solution, having a portable cd player that can fix me with my favorite songs.Considering how long my first portable cd player lasted, about 2 decades (I was a preteen/just thirteen) and I really dig this aesthetic I was like imma get me another Studebaker CD Player!2023-12-02 update: 😹✌️ I'm just really happy I get to listen to CDs I've bought and mix CDs I've burned over the years, and listen to more I make. Changed 4 star to 5 because I'm happy regardless of any product flaw.

Very good sound through the earphone jack to my Bose speakers. I purchased a Gueray because the reviewers said it had great sound and they rated it 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. I ended up returning the Gueray because it sounded terrible, it had NO BASS. This Studebaker has very good sound with great bass even without the bass boost. The Studebaker is a far superior product than the Gueray. If the reviewers give the Gueray a 4.5 out of 5, then I give the Studebaker 10 out of 5. It makes me wonder who is writing these reviews.

I like this product, even though I use it sparingly. My cds sound great when I use it, and I have not had any problems with it. A very good product. Quite easy to use, and not to expensive- not cheap, but worth what I paid for it.

1st review ever written. Wanted a simple CD player to use at work.... I just received this player. Loved the styling...but...! Previous reviews mentioned sound was ok but not great so wasn't expecting a super HIFI experience. However, as soon as I played the 1st CD (purchased not a copy), 1st track all I could hear was treble music, zero depth. In addition....you could not hear any of the singers / lyrics. Oh they were singing but they were so muted and in the background you couldn't make out any of the words or hear them. It was like you were hearing the singers from the other room, down the hall, with the door closed. Very disappointed and returned.

Works. But limited on how many tracks. Stops dead after a number of tracks on mp3.

I was on the hunt for a decent portable cd player for my daughter. I found this on Amazon and jumped on it. It is pretty straight forward and easy for her to use she is 11. The buttons all function as stated and I have not heard her complain of any skipping.It uses 2 batteries and come with headphones

I mainly bought this CD player for its retro look. I didn't expect the sound quality to be so good - not to mention the FM radio! The only thing I recommend is to use your own set of headphones instead of the earbuds that came with it, as they're small and limit the sound. It was a good price for a great product.I would definitely recommend this CD player to others!

The Bass boost is no more than a mid boost filter adding no real bass boost below let's say 150 hertz. No sub bass boost. Also using bass boost clouds mid and high frequency. So, effectively useless. I got a passable amount of bass without it, but I am using Sony 7506 studio headphones, without which you will notice very little bass at all. Certainly not with the supplied earphones. My Sony headphones are good but 90 dollars...so...Did not even test the tuner or mp3 capabilities.They don't make things like they used to.
