Chickens need worming twice a year and this is the easiest way to do it.
I've used this for a while now. Every spring and every autumn on my hens and bantams.Keeping them worm free means they stay healthy, keep the weight on during the laying season. They seem to come through a moult better and of course they lay plenty of eggs if they are in tip top condition.There's no withdrawal period, you can keep eating the eggs and it's as easy as filling the feeders with enough of it to last the amount of time they have to eat it for.I've kept hens for over 40 years now. Bred them, showed them (yes, there are poultry shows)written articles in magazines about poultry care.This feed with the flubenvet already added makes worming so much easier than it used to be.I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Arrived promptly, but in plain plastic outer sack as it appears to have 'leaked' some contents. Pellets accepted fairly reluctantly by mixed varieties of poultry - mostly preferring to eat it as a mash. However, the concept is very good. Due to it's short shelf life I would find it better if it could be obtainable in smaller quantities to save waste.

Does what it says on the bag
The good thing about this is you can still consume the eggs.The hens didn't want to eat them at first, once they realized they weren't getting anything else they ate them. It's an easy way to worm your chucks.
