This ant killer gel worked brilliantly. Didn't need the ant stations
This ant killer gel worked brilliantly. Didn't need the ant stations, the gel on its own would have been fine. Had so many problems with ants the last couple of years. This year once they started increasing in numbers to about 14 I put some of the gel on a piece of plastic & on an old lollipop stick & let others in the house know not to touch it. The ants soon came in good numbers & I left them to feed. Within a day there were none! I did try the traps first punching out the holes but they weren't keen to go in, but were very happy to feed in the open. I did it in the day time & it worked great. Been ant clear in that area of the house for 5 weeks now. One or 2 found in another part of the house so will use it there if they increase in number but they don't seem to be. Poor wee ants but I had tried lots of other 'nicer' ways previously which didn't work.

Worked within a few days. Brilliant, if a little fiddly
This worked brilliantly - within a few days our recent ant infestation had vanished. It's a clever little solution. The gel is an energy source for the ants but also toxic, so they carry the solution back to their nests & it helps eradicate the whole lot. Handy if you can't find the nest. (We had a recent ant invasion in our kitchen - not clear why - but this dealt with it within days).Downside is that it's a little fiddly. You put the gel inside a small round container, which has holes in the side for entry and exit of the insects. The only downside is you have to cut these holes yourself (they're pre-weakened) and I managed to cut my finger doing that, because I was being clumsy ! But I'm not sure why they can't just manufacture the container with holes cut (rather than pre-prepared to be cut) - it might be just me ?!

Got rid of them in about 5 days.
We had an ant problem in our house while we was away on holiday. When returning, all of our cupboards has ben raided! We placed these traps in the cupboard and kept refilling them, within 5 days, there's not a trace of them!If these aren't working for you, try relocating them.

Second year using these would recommend!
These have worked well for us over last 2 years. I think they are value for money, simple and easy to use. They can also be easily moved to problem areas

I have found that powders and sprays are great for getting rid of the visible problem but not ...
I have for the last two years had Ants in my cavity walls and have tried most routes to get rid of them. I have found that powders and sprays are great for getting rid of the visible problem but not great for stopping repeat infestations. This is the first time I have used a gel product and by and large it is a vast improvement on the other products I used. It seems that the ants take the gel back to the nest and after a couple of days there was no sign of any ants at all. I would warn that in the immediate moments after you put the gel down you may notice an increase in ant activity, but this is to be expected as the ants are attracted to the gel. DO NOT KILL THESE ANTS, let them take the gel back to the nest so the gel kills the ants at source.I gave the product a three because I don't thing the and disk/trays work. I tired a variety of different sized holes to attract the ants and found a greater level of success by simply smearing the gel near the ant nest entrance. So Gel 4.5/5 and disc 1.5/5

Useless!
Since having a new kitchen a couple of years ago, I have been experiencing a few ants coming from under my new skirtings. I bought some stuff on line which was excellent, Terro, coming from America. I’ve been used to ants digging little holes in the sand between the driveway bricks and so for the outside of my house I use nippon powder and that seems to work, albeit making the house look like a crack den!! This year again, I’ve have a few problems in my kitchen, (luckily on floor not in drawers/cupboards). So out came the Terro and the ones in the kitchen lapped it up. However, I’ve now got a little troop marching up and down my downstairs loo. I’m running short on terro, and it’s become very expensive to have in shipped. Also latest reviews have been that they may have changed the formula as many had reported that it wasn’t working. So I looked on line and found this. Nippon....well it worked outside so....Well I followed the instructions, hacked out the little side doors, all four of them and placed the gloop from the tube in the middle circle. Put it where I thought it would be most effective. The ants totally ignored it. I left it a couple of days. I took the lid off to watch. I cleaned it out and re hacked at the doors to see if I had perhaps not made them flat enough. I moved it around. The little ants seem to be running along the door threshold, so I put it next to it, NO! The ants have totally ignored this product. They run around it. So I put a little sugar in the gloop thinking it may attract, NO! Nothing. They have eaten my little drop of terro in one corner, but the troop by the door seem to be more intelligent! However, despite this being totally ignored, they have diminished somewhat. So hopefully, the nest has been destroyed by the terro they’ve eaten. So I will, look at other stuff to stock up just in case. Worse case scenario the inside of the house will have to have a white powder dusting of nippon powder!

Necessary evil
I have reptiles so can’t have ants roaming in my house, sometimes when the weather has warmed up they come in. I put these down and they seem to disappear. And because the gel is in a container it’s safer for pets to be around as there’s no powder lying about and you can place it inconspicuously
