Great product, easy to use and carry
I have not use monocular before but I thought I give this one a go due to its good spec and competitive price.I walk in the park and nearby woodlands a lot and want to carry something light and small so I can look at the birds and small animals more closely.Binocular is out of the question because I like to focus on one eye and this monocular is great to use and hold on one hand, while I can hold my lovely hot coffee on the other handThe range is more than enough for general use, the strongest point is the amazing clarity. I am able to see objects much more clearly in details. The main focus dial is easily operated with a single finger.Overall I am more than pleased with DFlamepower monocular in terms of its size and easy to use. If you want to have something in your pocket for occasional use. I would strong recommend you give it a try.

Decent
Decent quality, small price. Used on a uni trip to Scotland, saw some hares and grouse with it. Overall ok, only 10x magnification but if you want more you’ve got to spend the money. A little heavier than expected but easy to use

A great monocular, seems well made and with decent optics, very good value at this price point.
I generally struggle with binoculars, I seem to have trouble looking through two eye pieces at once, so a monocular is a great idea for looking at things at a distance.I thought this was very decently made, it's a good, robust, rubberised design, the optics seem fine to me, particularly at the price point, and it is decently weighty without being too heavy. Focus is via a rotating eyepiece, with fine focus via a rotating knob on the top of the monocular. It arrives in a neat little bag, with a tether and lens cloth.I tried to take a photo through it using my mobile, zooming in on my guitar case, I've attached another photo, taken from exactly the same position with juts the mobile, which hopefully demonstrates the magnification abilities. Whist the magnified shot is a tad blury, that's more about my lack of focus and the phone camera struggling rather than due to the optic of the monocular.I'm impressed that something of decent quality can be made at this price point. This will be yet another addition to my campervan, for those weekends away. Good stuff.

Fantastic waterproof monocular!
The monocular arrived promptly and well packaged. I really like it because it is very light and easy to carry for my travels without supposing much weight or taking much space in my luggage. It is perfect for watching birds and for walks in the countryside. The range of vision is pretty good as it comes with a 42 mm lens. I used it to watch birds in a lake near my house and was quite impressed with the quality of the images. It is very easy to hold and to focus the objects and images why you are holding it.It can be used under any weather as it is protected with a waterproof material.I personally prefer a monocular to binoculars as the vision is quite good and you only need one hand to use it while you can use the other one for other things. The monocular also comes with a strap to hold it.A carry bag and a cleaning cloth are also provided with this monocular. Very good value for money and happy to recommend this monocular for bird watching and wildlife walks.

Great price but you get what you pay for
Better suited to an enthusiastic child than anyone wanting a serious tool. The price is fantastic, but the optical quality if very poor. Very little contrast in the image, and the focus is poor too. If you want to avoid spending much and it's just for very occasional minor use then maybe it's fine. Otherwise you need to spend probably double to get good viewing.

excellent entry level monocular
I am new-ish to bird watching, and borrowed one of these off a friend when I was struggling with my (incredibly old) binoculars. The clarity is great, the little case keeps it clean and dry. The controls are easy for focusing. It's a good mid-range with decent magnification for a beginner like me. I would like to eventually invest in a scope to have better distant-views.

It’s ok.
I’d actually rate this at a three and a half but since that option isn’t available I’d put it nearer a four than a three. The general build is about what you’d expect at this price range by which I mean to say it’s plasticky, stinks of chemicals and the rubber trims aren’t fitted too well. There’s also gaps around parts of the fore lens retention ring where it doesn’t sit flush against the main housing of the scope. The optics are clear and reasonably bright. The focusing is ok, not too loose and not too stiff. Fine tuning is nice and it holds focus well.Along with the scope you also get a cleaning cloth and a cheap case with bad stitching. For fifteen quid you can’t really complain about the no frills aspect and I don’t regret the purchase. It’s a perfect little stocking filler for my lad who’s into bird watching but hates using binoculars. I’d also throw it in the car for trips and use it myself no problem. It’s ok but I wouldn’t pay anything above what I paid.

Nice scope for the price.
I never had a monocular before, I have used binoculars in the past. The item arrived and looked a little strange from what I assumed from movies.I used them monocular trying to focus at from first time usage was a little fiddly but once I figured it out it was really impressive, the eye piece has a section where you can extend to accommodate your eye piece so that you eye is not too close to the lense as to cause fogging especially in the cold weather, adjusting focus is very easily done using one hand and slowly adjusting the focus wheel. The only thing I felt that is needed is for a tripod in order to keep the object still. But the object focused is clear and crisp, it does come with a lens cloth its rather cheap so I do suggest investing in a more higher quality microfiber cloth. The zoom is far more superior than binoculars for that I can certainly say. For the price it's not bad and I do wonder what night vision scopes look like and able to achieve?
