The French they didn't teach you at school
This purchase was prompted by watching a French drama and realizing that, even when I understood every word, I had no idea what was actually being said. French lessons at school never covered colloquial speech, instead it was all very formal. Even after just a couple of hours in the company of this book I have learned so much that 3 years at school failed to teach me. Dylane's approach and her accompanying audios and video perfectly compliment the book i.e. they are all extremely well thought out. Thoroughly recommended.

Superb book!
I'm really happy with this and all of Dylane's books. They accompany the free videos she puts on YouTube and are well worth getting. This book of expressions and idioms is a perfect compliment to her other books and courses. Plus, her system of organisation is really well thought out. I'm enjoying the book/course and learning a lot of VERY useful French. Great teacher; great book!
