I ordered this after my doctor diagnosed my pain as DeQuervain’s Tenosynovitis. It is doing the job beautifully. i initially thought the straps weren’t right but I was wrong. I had to pull the strap nearer the fingers more tightly and then it fit perfectly. The thumb strap is a bit long which I could have cut off but I found I could also tuck the extra length behind the thumb and that works well. I like that the straps are adjustable so that they fit snugly but not too tight. I need to wear the brace most of the time but can take it off for eating or activities that require more flexibility. All in all I have found this a very good product and certainly not the most expensive.( jm

My son injured his thumb during a baseball game and we went to the orthopedic for an X-ray. They offered us a hand wrap that was almost identical to this one for $178.The nurse said we should look Amazon instead and buy something for a fraction of the price!I’m glad we did! Arrived quickly in two days and fit perfect! Glad she did - saved us $150!

3.5 but gave 4 to be generous.Adjustable thumb and wrist support provides stability to avoid re-injury. The straps are deliberately too long so that you can cut to adjust to your fit.Unfortunately, the velcro is not always well-aligned with the strap closure and can catch on knits or other textured fabric.Some discomfort on palm after periods of extended wear.Best used for sleep or with long sleeves that won’t snag.

Purchased a left large, which fits comfortably, to conservatively treat (splinting/immobilizing) recent onset of pain resulting in a working diagnosis of wrist tendinitis. As advertised, the product immobilizes your wrist and is easy to apply via three (3) Velcro straps and a fourth thumb strap. I have been wearing it continuously in excess of 24-hours now and have not encountered any discomfort from the metal bracing mentioned in other reviews. It is true the thumb and one of the wrist straps are very long, but that is easy remedied with a pair of scissors. Would purchase one for my right wrist, but hope that need never arises.

I fractured my wrist and after I "graduated" from the hard, molded splint, my ortho doc recommended this splint to support my hand while I continued to heal. I was surprised at how comfortable it was. It comes with generous velcro straps that can be trimmed once you get the brace fitted. It has removable "splints" to give you more flexibility as needed or as you heal.

So tight around the base of my thumb (where it meets the wrist) it was pinching s nerve and making my thumb numb.

Dr. recommended this type of brace for wrist tendonitis. It worked wonderfully for me. Wrist felt back to normal after several days of wear, although tendonitis does recur. I recommend it if you have already been diagnosed. If you are having trouble, I encourage you to see your dr so they can recommend what is best for your condition.

Works great for my wife's wrist. Supports her wrist and thumb well and gives much relief.
