This was a lot of trial and error. The machine is good for the price however the rcf and speed don’t go up as high as other centrifuges so you may have to spin your sample longer. After reviewing others reviews of it shaking I would say the shaking is due to the user not balancing out the tubes. Remember the weight has to be the same on each side. I balance every time and have never had an issue with convulsive shaking. I spin a lot of SSTs in here for my mobile phlebotomy job and I haven’t heard a complaint about the quality of the specimen yet so I’d say it does what it’s supposed to.

Suctions to the floor/countertop well and stays in place. I've used it half a dozen times to separate semen and urine, and it works as expected.

No tubes provided. Usually the part numbers of tubes, consumables and replacement parts are included. Not on this product. No address or even a phone number for obtaining part numbers. The lid will not close which is a big safety concern because the only tubes I have been able to find have a cap that is tall enough to keep the lid from closing. It says it will accept a 20 mL tube. It does not with a cap on the tube.

Actual Max RPM is 2820 (890g RCF) making half the power as stated.
