Animal Lovers Must Have
This is a must have for me. I may buy more. It's loud enough to detour my Beagle from eating everything in sight when I remember to turn it on. I have cats that fight when they get close. They pretty much ignore it but it alerts me when they get near each other's territory. Animal people have so many uses for this alarm

Piercing loud - excellent deterrent and responsive
Love how responsive this is, the remote control that can activate/deactivate the alarm, and the loud piercing sound. Using to further secure my storage unit. I like how this can also be connected to other devices as well to create a larger security network.

Scared the Raccoon
Easy to install. Set up requires a bit of trial/effort because the remote included does not match the remote in the instruction booklet. The icons on the buttons are different than the illustration and therefore have different functions than given in the instructions. I am using this in the ceiling of an outdoor pavilion to scare away raccoons that have been doing a lot of property damage. This sensor is probably meant to detect humans much larger than a raccoon, but it did eventually sense the raccoon at about 12 ft away. The alarm sound is quite loud and stunned the raccoon for a couple seconds before running away (got it on video). The light is just a red flashing light that is not very alarming at all. I was hoping for something like a blinding strobe but couldn't find the loud alarm and flood light in one unit anywhere. I have a very sensitive camera in the same area that senses the critters quicker than this alarm does, but with the remote I can manually set off the sound alarm without going outside. The remote seems to have a good strong PIR. It works from inside closed windows, across 30ft of yard and through the pavilion curtains. Handy on these very cold winter nights.

A wonderful unit!
The CPVAN 125db Loud Motion Sensor Alarm is one of the most intelligently designed devices it has ever been my pleasure to use. It seems to have anticipated all the features I need and how I want to use them. For example, my wife and I -- both octogenarians -- want to make sure sure we are comfortable using it before unleashing its full ear-splitting 125 decibels. Its design makes it easy for us to do this. Background: We have a fire-resistant bag containing materials crucial to our way of life. and which, if at all possible, we would take with us in any emergency. We guard it when we're away by arming our burglar alarm so that any intruder would be stopped by the prompt arrival of police. But of course we disarm the house upon return, and feel vulnerable after we retire for the night. That's where our new unit comes in. It's positioned so that any intruder about to enter our private space will trigger the siren, giving us time to take action, and most likely causing the intruder to retreat. To be in the same space with that sound I'm sure is painful.Critical to the unit's operation is a remote control which uses radio frequency, thus eliminating the need for a line-of-sight connection, though -- in our experience -- we need to be very much closer than the 325 feet advertised. My inquiry regarding the warranty got a swift and satisfactory reply from the excellent customer service team.To be sure, the manual of instructions, though complete, is so tiny that we need a magnifying glass to read them, which, in our age, is to be expected. We heartily endorse this unit, and urge you to consider its purchase.

At Times Finicky
Occasionally it will not work per instructions so you fidget with it to make it work as expected. However, it does detect well and produces very loud alarm sound. Battery life concern, so monitor battery life during return period.

Sensor delays about 3 seconds but once activated it does its job
Great little unit

Beware...not reliable and sometimes affected from neighboring remotes.
NO VENDOR RESPONSE! Wrote 3 queries to vvendor and ...crickets. Don't use these as REAL serious security devices as someone else with these devices- their remotes can turn on and off units. Assigning remotes to Alarm units is IFFY at best. Sometimes they work after synching them and sometimes they don't. Not quality RF units as it must be frequency drift in the remote control units. No vendor response/support makes them even a worse purchase to make!

LOUD and Effective!
LOVE THIS!! I got three motion detectors to protect my empty rental while I was waiting to find new tenants and the new tenants moved in. I am on good terms with the neighbors around my rental property, so they knew if they heard something to call or text me. There was a time or two I did set these off, initially to make sure they worked and then once accidentally when I went over to check on something in the garage. My motion alarm in the garage, it blended in nicely with other items on the garage's work bench so IF it had been someone breaking in to steal my new kitchen appliances or whatever nefarious goals a burglar might have had, it would surely scare them off. I was sure scared when I did it by accident! The kitchen and front door alarms were not so well hidden since my rental property was empty waiting on tenants to occupy. However, I kept the front door alarm turn off remote at my own home with me, and then had the alarm remote for the next in series sort of near the next to be turned off so I could make my way through the home without setting it off. However, the time I set alarm off accidentally was my own fault for not remembering to get that last on/off button and turning off the garage-based alarm before I went out there. There are so many uses for these! I highly recommend these. In case Amazon puts similar products together, this is my product's description:CPVAN 125dB Loud Motion Sensor Alarm with 328ft Remote Control (40ft PIR Detector, Batteries), Indoor Wireless Infrared Security Motion Detector with Siren for Home Garage Van (CP2 Pro, Black)I hope this review helps others.
