Works great as a replacement mounting bracket for a new seat. The older model seat brackets will not fit the new seats.

Installed three on a old boat I'm redoing. Great product for the price. Solid base, height adjustments lock in place, and seat can be locked in place or swivel. Seat can also be easily removed.

Ordered a captains chair along with this seat base….. base was easily installed and a great fit.

It's ok
I was expecting it to have a spring assist not manually having to pull it up. Other than that seems to be built decently. I havent installed it yet I'm still trying to figure out the best fasteners to use so it don't uproot with a wooden floor
