This book was absolutely perfect for keeping my child’s math information fresh in his head over the summer! It was everything he learned in 4th grade so it kept his skills sharpened. I appreciate that each lesson isn’t too long! It’s just enough to do a page in about 15-20 minutes which was perfect in still keeping our summer days ‘light’ and fun.This company spent much time making sure each lesson is explained well, pictures are on point and informative.We will be ordering it again for next summer!

The media could not be loaded. We homeschool our grandson. This is a nice addition, excuse the pun lol. This would get you started if you were on a tight budget. I always like the Spectrum books. You can not beat that price. Watch the video. I have been homeschooling since the 90's and have used Spectrum for a long time. I've found it here, at yard sales, libraries, book stores, etc.

4th grade math was a doozy for my twins. I used these workbooks to help with reinforcing and practicing math concepts which in turn helped my twins feel more confident in math.There are quite a bit of work problems and so we still have quite a few more to do over the summer which will be a good review while we await 5th grade math.Will definitely be buying the 5th grade math workbook if available.

This Spectrum math is nice as a supplement or as a summer refresher. It doesn't have a lot of instruction so I wouldn't use it as a main math curriculum, but it works as an "extra." The pages are black and white with blue and red ink as well. The paper is good enough quality. If you have a student who just wants to do the math problems without a lot of additional "fluff" to read, then this might work well. I took off one star because I thought they could have made it somehow a little more fun or appealing for a child. The level 4 seems appropriate for my 4th grader who is an average student. There are enough pages of problems to last us through the school year. I like that the answer key is in the back so I don't have to work out all the questions if I'm in a hurry. The price was fair for what you get. Would purchase again!

Home school. The Spectrum series is really great for Advance children. This is the reason why I would recommend it. If your child is average, start off with a grade lower and see how he/she progress, then go to grade level. Great workbooks

This is a great math book, pure and simple. It covers everything my son needs to learn for math in the 4th grade. The exercises steadily get harder as the book progresses, but enough repetition and practice is available so a concepts stick. I will be buying the 5th grade version soon.

I got these (3rd/4th/5th grades) for my nieces to catch them up with their math during this whole COVID shutdown. These math books are great. The chapters have Pretests so that they can review what they know, and if they ace it, I let them skip the chapter. If not, I just have them go through that chapter (or parts of it) and have them take the Post-test at the end of it. If they know most of the stuff, I let them skip to the mid-test. If they don’t know something, they go back and review certain lessons.My nieces have been liking these books, too. The they’re formatted nicely and are pretty decent at teaching concepts. I also plan ahead and highlight the page numbers and mark rows of questions I want them to answer so they know what to work on. Just today I paired 30 min. increments of math books with 30-45min of “Reading Eggs” online (google it, my nieces love it). It really breaks up the monotony.I love these books and will be using them lots!
