Really nice poker chip set!
I did a lot of research before making this purchase and honestly, for the price this is a great set. I’m very happy with the quality of the chips themselves. Maybe 1 of every 30 chips in this set have slight flashing around the edge but it comes off pretty easily so it’s not a big issue.Based on other reviews and other chip sets, I was a little worried about receiving loose bags of mix-matched chips or even the wrong number. Some reviews stated that they recieved some sleeves that were ripped open with chips missing. I’m glad to say that none of the chips missing, but one of the sleeves was indeed ripped open which I find weird. There seems to be absolutely no possible way for the chips to move around once the carrying case is closed, so that makes me think it was packaged like that. If there WERE chips missing I’d be upset but thankfully none were missing. As far as the case goes, it definitely is cheap but it seems like it’ll hold up fairly well. The biggest concern are the two clips that hold it shut. They don’t feel like they secure it shut very well, but let’s be honest that won’t actually cause anyone an issue since the carrying handle is built into both halves of the case. The two decks of cards are pretty nice. They definitely have a certain feel to them (almost like plastic-y but not in a bad way). The cut cards are also pretty nice and each set comes with 2 (so 4 cut cards in total). The dealer button is a nice addition, although it’s probably the cheapest part of the whole set. I didn’t buy this for poker only (I mainly bought it to play blackjack) so it’s not a real issue either. It’ll do its job perfectly fine.Back to the chips: they are actually really nice and feel just like a casino. I haven’t weighed any of them so I don’t actually know if they are all perfectly 14 grams. I’m not picky about it so if you’re looking for a 14 gram set, I really can’t verify that for you (sorry). That being said, they are VERY flat. Even with a stack of 20 there is almost no wobble and they feel extremely smooth. None had any defects or scratches except for a couple with that flashing from the molding process.Overall this is a great set for someone looking for an at-home chip set. The denominations are great too except maybe I would’ve liked some $1’s (maybe only like 20) but other than that I think it’s awesome. Especially for the price, this seems like it’ll be more than enough chips for how much you’re paying.

Excellent chip set for the money
I’ve had this set for a couple months so I can’t say how well it’ll hold up over time, but the initial quality has been great. To break it down:The Chips: Great quality and consistency. Perfectly uniform coloring and size, and the design looks great. I also love the denomination breakdown. Almost every other set out there has a ton of $1 chips, but if you start your tournaments with blinds at $5-$10 like we do, those chips are all useless. With 3 of these sets I can host 30-player a tournament with $1,000 starting stacks. Excellent chips for this price point even if you just look at the price per chip and leave out the extras. The Case: I read some complaints about the case, but I like it. It’s plastic, so if you drop it, it’s going to break, sure, but there are a couple things that make up for that. First, handle is built into the bottom and lid of the case, so it won’t flip open when you pick it up, even if you don’t latch it shut. Second I love the removable chip racks in the case. It makes coloring up chips much easier. I’d call the case decent for the price point. The Cards and Dealer Button: This is where I was really blown away. The dealer button is a size and thickness close to what you’d see at a card room which is nice, but these cards! The cards that come with chip set are invariably the cheapest cards you can get. Not these. The cards that are included in this set are plastic cards with initial quality in line with Copag or Da Vinci cards that cost $7.00-$10.00 a deck. They even include cut cards. Several players have remarked how nice these cards are, and we usually use Copags or Da Vincis, so the bar is pretty high. We’ve only played a couple tournaments, so only time will tell if the printing on them holds up as well at that level of playing card. For a throw-in with a set of chips, these cards are exceptional.

GREAT SET OF STARTER CHIPS!
I got this set so I could play with my kids. I did a lot of research on different kinds of chip's ( composite, clay, slug, etc..) and consistent across the board the Monte Carlo's came up. There are other sites that sell them for about .19c a chip but that is without shipping. For the price paid and the amount of chips you get equals out to be 0.25c/chip.The other contents that came with the kit also include 2x decks of cards- plastic (good in my case cause kids) very nice feel. Also comes with a dealer button to keep track of things during "texas Hold'em"PROS:40mm chipSOLID FEEL and WEIGHTBEAUTIFUL DESIGNGREAT CHIP SOUNDNICE LOOKING CARDS (each deck comes with 2x cut cards)CONS:CASE IS THIN AND FEELS LIKE ITS GOING TO BREAK IF TOO ROUGH.SLIGHT FLASHING ON THE EDGE OF THE CHIP (will come off with little effort)SMALL DOTS IN THE SOLD COLOR OF THE CHIPS COMPOSITE (You really have to look to see em')CONCLUSION: For the price and quality of the chips and everything that comes with it (even with their slight flaws in the chips). This is still a GREAT 'DEAL' <--- see what I did there?I would buy again If they had a second one that included the other chips in the Monte Carlo line up IE. $1, $10, $50, $1000, $10,000...suggestion:100ct of $1 chips100ct of $10 chips100ct of $50 chips50ct of $1000 chips50ct of $10,000 chips

Very nice set!
Everything about this set is so nice, even the decks of cards are surprisingly good. The chips get many complements and make poker nights feel a lot more fun.
