In the name of self-preservation, 2-3 years ago, I began storing tap water in thoroughly washed out former milk gallon jugs "just in case". Additionally, as a precaution, I thought it best to have water purification tablets on hand as needed for drinking water. To date, such emergency has not occurred, but am comforted knowing these tablets are on hand to purify my drinking water in the future. No tablets are needed for cooking, washing dishes, laundry, etc. Great to take camping, too! So, no need to use these tablets to date. Helen G. -- 6.27.2025

I did the Nepal pan Aramaic trek and used these along the way. They were easy and quick to cleanse the water. I stayed healthy the entire trip.

Haven’t tested them out but do have them in our emergency bags incase we loose water supply during a storm or freeze.

There is no aftertaste. The wrapping could be easier to take off.

If something bad happens don't get caught without a good water supply. BUT if you do get caught and the only water is questionable these simple tabs can save the day. Cheap insurance for travel and home prep. After thirty years as a first responder I know hat can go wrong at ny time!
