Pull focus without shaking your shot
The media could not be loaded. I like to try and nail rack focusing between subjects and it’s a pain in the neck without a follow focus. This one is perfect for my setup. It’s compact, relatively inexpensive, and sturdy.I can always tell if I didn’t have my following focus for a shoot because there’s a slight shake when I change subjects.I added a short video demo so you can see how the follow focus allow you to see exactly how far you need to turn the lens to nail a rack focus.I like that it came with its own short rail. Saved me a few bucks.

Well designed
SmallRig paid attention to the little details that makes a follow focus a satisfying experience. The unit feels rugged and there's little to no play in the rotation.

Don't sleep on the follow focus
A must have piece of kit, and you could do worse than buying from Smallrig. Solid design, fits snuggly on the rail, easy smooth turning with locking screws to hard stop you at your focus points for pulling in and out, and has a little ring you can mark on if you need multiple reference points. The grip is perfect, never slips, never feels like it's gummy or weird in my hand. The gear meshes perfectly with cinema lenses that are anticipating that sort of thing, but if you're using something that doesn't have that, smallrig has you covered with a band that wraps around your lense to give you that traction ad well as a rubber ring that can fit over the gear itself to track onto grippy surfaces around photo lenses. It offers just enough resistance to let you know it's there, but not enough to keep you from switching focus fast during action scenes or filming sports. Over, great value.

Almost perfect!
The SmallRig F60 is well made however, it has a small bit of play in the gear box which makes it a little hard to make accurate focus pulls. I have two F40 follow focus and they have no play in the gear box.

Fantastic Quality
I just picked this up on black friday. I've put it on a smallrig cage for a BMPCC 6K Pro. You will need to use underside rails (like for a v-mount setup) if you want to mount this on the right-hand side of that camera. The included rail setup won't reach the lens. I'm sure it works fine for the left-hand side, but I already have a handle mounted there. In any case, it works great. The action is very smooth, the wood-grain is nice and matches my wood-grain smallrig handles. The white marking ring does feel like cheap plastic like people have mentioned, but it's intended to be used with dry-erase markers for color-coding your focus positions, so shiny white plastic is perfect for that. If you don't like it, you can just pop it off instead for a cleaner black and wood look. The articulation of the configuration is impressive, and it all holds together well when tightened. If you're on a budget, the smallrig mini FF is usually around half the cost of this one, I just splurged to keep my wood-grain aesthetic going. Basically this is a quality product and the only downside is the price. Get it on sale if you can!

Great product with 2 flaws to be aware of
This is a much better option for manual focus than the “grip-n-rip” method. You’ll no longer forget which way to twist the focus ring and ruin shots. Very comfortable wheel to turn. There are turn limiters so you can easily rack focus between subjects - for example 2 ppl talking. My complaints are not really a fault of the product but something to be aware of:1. This kit comes with one “zip tie” style lens gear so if your lens doesn’t have gears, you’ll have to cut the excess and essentially need to buy lens gears for all of your lenses (if the barrels are different sizes)2. If you use compact lenses (as I do) - at its minimum distance the gear on the focus puller will not align with the focus ring on the lens. Rendering this device useless. Make sure you have a big enough lens before you buy.

Does not fit the base plate recommended to bundle
I bought with the baseplate bundle that was recommended at the time of purchase. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0197OP4PU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 But One of the knobs of the focus puller stops me from mounting this on a Manfrotto 502 Pro Video Head. The knob conflicts with the flat base of the tripod head because the baseplate is not tall enough. So now I have to purchase a cage to mount this from the top. Very disappointed. I hate to get suckered into buying more and more stuff. All I wanted was a focus puller not get into buying a cage.

Follow Focus King
Great follow focus, aint nothing to it but to do it. Works well with my BMPC4K, along with the rods I have.
