I had relatively low expectations of this product because it was so inexpensive and simple if I’m honest.I am so glad to be wrong though because it works REALLY WELL!I’d guess my car was at least 10° cooler using it than without, but it felt like 20°.10/10Recommend

I honestly dont know how this product has three and a half stars. This is a terrible sunshade in my opinion.The pros: Good size for my Honda. And the surface is highly reflective for deflecting the sun's raysThe cons: Literally everything else. First of all, there are no boards inside the sunshade to keep it rigid. So instead of a nice accordion style sunshade that easily unfolds and collapses, you end up with something more resembling a thick aluminum blanket.Instead of internal boards, It relies on two flimsy suction cups at the top of the sunshade to attach it to the windshield and keep it in place. The result is that you end up with more of a sun "curtain" sagging and spilling all over your dashboard. And I can confirm that those suction cups dont stick for very long in the Houston heat.And trying to fold this thing after using it is a study in frustration. Imagine yourself inside the cabin of your vehicle on a hot summer day, trying to fold this aluminum "blanket" while its surface is reflecting the suns rays into your eyes and burning out your retinas. I ended up just wadding it into a ball and tossing it into the back seat.Dont get tempted by the low price like I did. Spend a few extra bucks and buy a better sunshade.

It is packed folded in half. I've owned multiple visors over the decades, but this visor is the first one I've seen folded both ways - along the width as expected, but then folded again on the short side. As a result the whole thing is divided in four sections & is a mess when trying to fold it to put away. It doesn't collapse like an accordion (like the ~3 others I've had) and it's unclear which folds go which way so I just kind of half fold it and throw it in the back. If it weren't folded the second time, it would simply collapse along the width (like ones you buy in a store). I'm pretty sure it will break down & need to be replaced relatively quickly. I've seen people just ball visors up & how they deteriorate because of it. I thought they were just sloppy about it, but I see now that it might be because there's was folded too. Does the job, but I do not recommend.
