Nicely built cable
Works as advertised. Needed this cable to complete my desk setup. It fit in perfectly, was able to wire it pretty easily. The cable was a little thicker than I expected, but that didn't hinder wire management to much. Since it is thicker, it is a little tougher to maneuver around; real stiff at first. Once it was routed and plugged in, the picture quality met my needs. I was able to utilize my monitor's highest display setting with no noticeable drawbacks. Speeds were what I wanted. I don't have a monitor that supports sound functionality, so I was unable to test out the sound quality of this cable. Overall, I would recommend buying this. It has a very nice quality build to it.

No DP cable detected error
I found out after some head scratching that the rubber shielding on the metal DP connector had to be trimmed back about 1/8" to allow it to completely seat itself and make the proper connection on some (Dell) displays and video connectors. It was odd that the cable worked on some and not others? When it seats correctly there is a slight click. Otherwise they have very robust shielding and worked fine otherwise.
