Got sent a comb that looks totally different from picture. It’s not black all around, it has a tan wooden handle. I wanted black all around because the wooden handle on my other comb turned green after getting wet

Great wide-tooth horn comb. Unfortunately, one of the teeth broke off the first time I used it. I'm sure the seller would have replaced it, but I'm not bothered enough by the missing tooth to return it. The breakage was likely due to a natural fault in the horn rather than a defect in milling.

Received this comb just a week ago. It was on the pricey side and I was a little concerned about its origin (I asked but got no response) - but forged ahead and ordered it anyway. I have to say this is a seriously nice comb. The whole thing seems to have been formed from one piece of buffalo horn. There are no sharp places anywhere on this object. The ends of the teeth are smooth and rounded - you could rake it across your face and not leave a mark. It feels wonderful on the scalp. It is an entirely different experience than any comb I've grabbed off the drug-store rack. I have shoulder-length hair which I'm trying to baby along so it stays healthy as it grows. This comb is the ticket after showering and washing/conditioning my hair. I do apply a non-oily leave-in spray detangler, but combing out my damp hair has never been such an easy, pain-free experience as it is with this comb. Of course I'm being careful to start at the ends rather than yanking from the scalp. Even doing it this more careful way just didn't take any time at all. Based on my week of using this comb, I'm impressed and would recommend it to anyone who can see spending $15 on a comb. I would comment that as it's made of horn rather than plastic, I fear it might shatter if dropped on a tile or other hard floor, so I'm being careful to use it over carpet or bath rug in case it should slip out of my hand. It's pampering me, so I'm going to pamper it. It's an organic object, not a plastic molded thing, so I'll give it the respect it deserves, and hope to enjoy it a long time.

This comb is sturdy, high quality, and feels great on the scalp. It does not damage hair. My hair is wavy, fine, medium length, and I use this comb on dry hair to make it shiny. I recommend this comb over other horn combs available online.

Well-made, attractive, nice weight to it. However, it was more wide-tooth than I was hoping for.

I love the handle and wide teeth on this comb. When my first one broke due to extreme circumstances, I immediately ordered a second.
