Q: Does the volume really crank up?

Yup!!! One of the reasons I wanted these is that the volume output on my phone is pathetic. These ramp it WAY up, especially if you jack the bass.

Q: can it be used on a pc? if so, can it be used wired?

yes and yes. Thats what i use it for. Since i bought it i havent used the usb charging cable to charge the battery for bluetooth wireless function. I use the aux cable that comes with it and run it like a normal wired headphone.

Q: do these headphones have noise canceling?

Skull candy doesn't call it noise canceling they call it noise isolating. The moment you put them on everything around you quiets down quite a bit. If you like headphones with a lot of bass these are the best

Q: Are these better than the hesh 3

Yes, the crushers are good. They do have some quality control issues sadly. I had a pair that came with a broken cord, then another pair that one headphone wasn't working right.
