Smaller than expected
I didn't whip out the tape measure or anything but needless to say, I was very surprised by the size of a $25 Link plush. I guess I didn't consider how they might come up with the 8-inch measurement. Maybe it's like how they measure TV screens on the diagonal, I don't know. Let's just say that if your kid spotted this at your local big box store for $25 you would assume it was in the wrong place or mismarked and scoop it up, only to find out at the register that it was every bit of $25, at which point you ask them to put it back and prepare for a grand maul meltdown from your child, the likes of which no one has ever seen. But it's here now, and the kids likes it I guess. He doesn't have to know all the terrible things dad has to do to make $25.
