The Thrustmaster eSwap X Pro Controller is a great controller for the most part. The one place where it could use a little help is with the joysticks. They wear out a little sooner than some on the market do. Fortunately, there is a really great fix for this! The replacement part will make the joysticks much stiffer, so if you have unusually weak thumbs, you may need to chose a different option.The box which the Thrustmaster eSwap X PRO Controller comes in is really nice, and it's that way for a reason. When your gaming session is done, you should put your Thrustmaster eSwap X Pro Controller back in its box, and fit the stiff foam part over the two joysticks in the way that it originally came. It has a cut-out which fits over the switch controller in such a way that it can't be inserted incorrectly. The purpose of this packing piece is to ensure that the sticks are perfectly centred, and that neither spring has any extra tension on it. This will not only ensure that your joysticks last longer, but it will also ensure that your joysticks will remain tensioned properly even over long periods of time. The eSwap X PRO is both a very high quality controller, but also a rather expensive one too, so you'll want to give it the best care possible.Initially, the Thrustmaster eSwap X PRO Controller is more expensive than most controllers, but if you replace the spring box (the mechanical part only, not the whole joystick), you'll eventually recoup that extra expense by not having to buy a new controller every time the joysticks wear out. The thing to remember is that unless you want to customize your colours, you should never buy Thrustmaster replacement sticks. I bought 2 of these but not for the reason you may think. They were purchased because it is impossible to actually buy any replacement original parts. The company is based in France and Canada and their tech support is only available a few days out of the week from 3-7 pm. That's correct only those few hours. Spoke to a very nice person who stated they DO NOT STOCK ANY ITEMS IN THE USA, Everything is shipped from France. Sold in Euros and only can be paid via paypal via the tech phone support.The controller fits really well in the hand and is solid, except the buttons wear out quickly as do the sticks.Once that happens you are stuck like I was. So I bought another one to use as parts. The USB cable is nice but will also wear out and if you accidentally connect it upside down you may damage it and it will never go in. Yes happened to me and I did not use much force. RLCS former Pro Lethamyr recommended this controller so on that I made the leap. Their website is anemic and it seems they were not ready for the market place in reality. Tech was apologetic but kept making excuses as to why it was a such.Bottom line is save your money and just by a controller for half the price. You wont regret itThe product has great potential but it seems they built these parts in what is called, planned obsolescence.Sticks drift and act on their own, double jumps, jello like effect in addition to a rapidly changing POV stutter.This could have been so much better.Buyer beware.

Been looking forever for an adult sized handable, PS configurable style (Can't Stand Xbox configuration) controller with multiple mappable buttons, with back buttons (it has 4) that is comfortable to hold, extremely responsive, and that can be easily fixed when the dreaded stick drift happens, as it will ALWAYS happen eventually, and this is it! I've spent easily over a thousand dollars trying to find one that fits this bill, and this does it the best so far. I was skeptical having read some bad reviews, complaining of stick drift, which is a big negative for Rocket League, my primary game I play on PC, but I had to try it anyway since so all other controllers just were not responsive enough, fast enough on the stick, and this one has no such problem. I really like the fact that it is modular, and that they've created the ESWAP X S5 NXG MINI-STICK MODULE to replace the standard taller thumbticks it comes with, as they're a bit too tall for me with Rocket League, and when a stick goes bad, no problem, just replace it with another module, or module packs that change the appearance as well as replace the bad stick. This is great, and I could've saved myself a lot of money just getting this in the first place and ignoring the naysayers and negative reviews. If you have large hands, and have a difficult time holding today's tiny controllers out on the market, this will be your answer. It's easily repairable, and is professional all the way, not a plasticy, cheap feel, but premium, top notch all the way around, best I've ever held. It's heavier feeling which you'd expect from a premium controller, not light and junky feeling It's wired however, and that's not a problem for me as I'm at the PC when I play anyway, and eliminates any connection issues during play, or just trying to connect. It's a winner, no doubt about it. Some things I don't like: I despise the pointy R2 and L2 triggers that's used by many for forward and reverse for driving games (Rocket League), that curve out, that so many controllers are made with today, so I ground them down to make them flatter which solved that issue. You can also purchase fighter triggers that will make them flat, which I have on order to try to see if it's a better solution to my grinding work on the triggers (It wasn't, grinding the triggers down slightly to remove the points worked better). I also wish the back buttons were larger and easier to press, but this will take some muscle memory to get fast at using them, which isn't that big of a deal. Overall it's the best controller for my large hands I've ever used, so if small controllers are your problem like it was mine, this should be your answer, as it configures both PS and Xbox style.
